The Hainish Cycle is an epic
Really enjoyable collection of stories and novels. Reading them in the order presented in this collection adds a canonical background to the stories that is fun to follow.

Belle reliure pour un beau livre
Pas d'hésitation à avoir! Une fois passé la couverture papier laide de Library of America (on la croirait éditée des années 2000 contrairement au beau coffret cartonné), très belle surprise avec cette reliure. Pour les amateurs de présentation clean on est sur du 20.5cm x 13cm. Chef's kiss ;)

Lifetime books.
The stories are what they are. If you like Ms Le Guin, you'll like them. But it's the quality of the books that is outstanding. You'll need to put an extra line in your will for them.

Don't judge a cover by it's jacket
Beauty hiding under dull dust jackets.While I'm no fan of dust jackets in general - the Library of America books gain the most by dropping the dust jackets and presenting the cloth-bound, sown and stamped spine.As for the contents, I've only read the "Word for World is Forest" before and I'm thrilled to get the whole Hainish series in this handy set. The only other option is collecting (likely mismatched) mass paperbacks, so I highly recommend this edition.
