This is a reliable hair wax. I use it in my son's hair when doing his twists and they hold the style very well. It doesn't flake and only leaves visible residue if there's too much use in a particular section (as to be expected). Otherwise, awesome product.

Always use for braids it’s so good and it stays in for a long time. Be careful not to get your hair wet cause it will drain in your eye and it will hurt

This product had great reviews so I felt confident trying it...and I know a natural hair journey means trying many different products to see what works best for you. I have 4c fine hair and this did hold for about an hour...but my hair at the edges (where I applied it) curled. Additionally, the finish was dull...and that was a deal breaker...unfortunately. It may work for you but it didn't for me.
