I absolutely adore this rose water spray! My skin is sensitive/acne prone and this keeps things calm and moisturized with no irritation whatsoever. I love using this as the first step in both my morning & nighttime skincare routines. The scent is natural, the feel is lightweight and hydrated, and I truly feel like I’m being pampered with every use. I’ve purchased this quite a few times and will continue to do so as long as the product doesn’t change! …. …. With that being said, in regards to the recent reviews about the formula changing- I also unfortunately had this problem as well! I repurchased in May 2026 & it came in the normal rose water bottle & packaging, however, it smelled like eucalyptus or tea tree oil and not its usual natural rose water scent. It also felt like there was a slight greasy film on my face afterwards. I did return the item immediately in exchange for a replacement and I’m relieved to say that I received the correct formulation. I’m hoping it was a one-off bottling error because I really love this product so much!!

El spray no avienta uniformemente o tal vez venia defectuoso el mío así que lo ponía directo en mis manos y después aplicaba.

I love using this rose water spray in the morning. A few spritzes on my face feels incredibly refreshing and has become a really nice little part of my morning skincare routine, especially when I want something light and fresh to start the day. The mist feels soothing on my skin without being heavy or sticky, and I really enjoy the natural rose scent. It’s pleasant and refreshing without feeling like I’m spraying perfume on my face. I also like how simple the product is. I can use it on its own when my skin just needs a quick refresh or incorporate it into the rest of my skincare routine. The 4 oz bottle is also convenient and lasts quite a while since I only need a few sprays at a time. Simple product, but one I genuinely enjoy reaching for every morning.

...but the flower waters though refreshing never did the magical things as claimed. I like this rose water. I don’t even care for the scent of rose water but this one smelled fresh and sort of concentrated, like, not a powdery watered down rose. It smelled like actual roses, but crucially, not overtly rosy. This is a big issue since I am around people who are very sensitive to/dislike scent, especially flowery ones. So it was a gamble. I took it because if I got a third product i could get some $ off plus I had run out of toner and it was a heat crisis of sorts. I rely on toners almost exclusively to do everything from cleanse to moisturize so I look for pure-ish substances to act as a water base. After messing around with hydrosols that have gone bad, or seemed dubious, and also gave me bumps or wildly break out, I decided to try this rose water since I can’t complain about anything I’ve gotten from Leven Rose. They are consistent and hygienic so I felt safe to incorporate this in the toner batches I was making. By toner I mean all-in-one sprays with all sorts of things to double as moisturizer exfoliant and cleanser, without preservative. So it had to be stable foremost, and the scent and rose part I didn’t care for. The point is I ended up caring for these. It was concentrated/powerful enough to form the base of several toners with a better feel than just aloe vera or distilled water plus essential oils. and I can’t say for certain but my skin looked...rosy in a way I’m decidedly not, with ‘yellow’ Asian skin. I don’t mean rosy pink but rosy like a healthy glow. I thought maybe it was the sun but it wasn’t tan. It was all those clichés advertised about rose water that seemed true of my skin. I won’t go through the adjectives because it will sound fake and corny and I don’t want this to get flagged as such because I’m taking trouble to write this in a thorough and informative way. So I noticed a rosy-type glow which is unusual for me to notice because I try a lot of things self improvement-wise, and something has to be blatant for me to notice differences. I don’t look for differences because a) I forget b) part of me believes this will skew the results, which will be largely placebo anyway. So I operate with the belief that most things are 90% not working. On that note, I made several toners with this one bottle so I can’t guarantee it’s the rose water alone. Though I’ve made these toners before, and noticed other changes but not quite this type of rosy dewy etc. I can’t quite describe it except it was the skin of someone who didn’t live in a smoggy city. I will say for those who tinker around with toners, the packaging is awesome. The bottles don’t break, they’re airtight, and of course dark. The one thing is the sprayer is strong, not very diffuse. Then again, this is probably the trade off with the fact that the sprayer doesn’t clog when I add oils, which is a miracle with a bottle this size. Normally I’d have to carry a 16oz full-fledged sprayer to have a toner with oils. They sell them in 8oz now but...they broke ;-) During the summer you could easily benefit from this by itself. I tend to always want to make a water product into a humectant because water is drying and it messes with your acid mantle. So the packaging is a win. I’m happy because it’s summer and I can use put sandalwood and JoJoba oil and aloe Vera into this and it will still spray.
