The best antenna on the market.
I purchased this same antenna in 1994, a year after I purchased my Realistic HTX-202 hand held Transceiver. I used this setup in Eastern Washington state for 14 years and it's been through below zero temperatures and winter storms, and, above 110 degree extreme summer heat and it has always performed flawlessly. Now I live in a different state and after 24 years of continuous use I am still using this same setup as my home base station along with an early 1990's Realistic 30 watt amplifier and together this setup still works flawlessly. I have had to straighten a couple radials after the beating of a high wind storm or two, and I recently replaced a broken radial with a much thicker radial that I cut to length after it broke, but that's to be expected for a 24 year old antenna. In my experience with this Cushcraft 13b2 antenna Hitting repeaters 100 miles away and beyond with 30 watts is standard procedure. Would I recommend this Yagi? Yes I do recommend it, but shop around for pricing.
