**Q: How do I open the Loctite 243 bottle?**
A: You simply twist the cap and it should open.

**Q: Is this good to use on battery cable bolts?**
A: Yes this can be used on the threads.  Loctite 243 is a plastic so keep it off the post where good electrically conductive contact is required.
I am thinking a car battery here.   If this is a different design and IF THIS  THREADED ASSEMBLY REQUIRES ELECTRICALLY CONDUCTIVY DO NO USE OUR PLASTIC THREADLOCKER IT WILL INSULATE AND GENERATE RESISTANCE.

**Q: Can this still be effective on a bolt that is threaded, left to sit, and then threaded again to torque spec?**
A: Left for set how long? When you remove the bolt, if it's still wet then yes, but I would wipe it off and reapply because I would want a thicker application for a tighter bond.
