how do you install or use this? where do you connect it or where do you insert the sd card?

I have a 2009 S550 Mercedes pcmcia card is too big

On 2011 e350 i get unreadable files (good mp3's on sdhc 32gb class10 formatted to fat32 ), then most often no memory card found. faulty adapter?

I had this issue with one out of my 10 cards in use, after a while of usage. So in my case it was the card and I would recommend to try another/new one. If the same happens again, I'm sure it's safe to assume it's the adapter then... Good luck!

Not sure, SDHC is a newer format than pcmcia. Product isn’t to expensive to give it a try.

Could i use a sd card with more memory - ie: 128g ? if not, what determines the 32g limit ?

No you can not, it is limited by the Comand system. Just use more cards..., that's what I do.

This is too simple to not own.

This adaptor works exactly as advertized. I'm useing my adaptor in a 2011 Mercedes E350. Mercedes of this vintage use FAT32 formating. Like the discription says this adaptor is plug and play - in older Mercedes cars with the Command audio system with a CF card input. Just remember that you CF card needs to be FAT32 formated. The actual adaptor doesn't care how you've formatted your CF card but your car does.
