Will the elastic stretch to fit an armrest that is 11" long front to back?** A: Yes. That is the length of my hubby's desk chair and I just tried to stretch these pads onto them and it worked but I had to position the pad in the center of the arm rest and reaching beneath the new pad I simultaneously stretched the elastic band at each end to get it on. I will say that I attempted this when these first arrived and I couldn't get them on, but these new pads have been on my desk chair for a couple of weeks and have stretched out a little. Good luck. **Q: how thick is the pad?** A: I received mine on 8/8/21. The pad parts alone are about 1.5 inches or a little less. That's good for me because they raise the minimum height of an armrest, and a much thicker pad would sit too high for me on my particular office chair. The pad is functionally thick enough to be very comfortable. More thickness would be overkill IMO. **Q: Do these pads shift around? Do they stay still while you pivot your elbow or while you move your arm?** A: It moves around a little bit on my NITRO CONCEPTS S300 Gaming Chair, yes, but not during use. If that makes sense. I liked the style with straps.
