The quality of this shoe is very superior to the S_erry oxford and all of the cheaper quality shoes. These last all year long, guaranteed. However, my latest purchase looked slightly different on the inside of the shoe.....just different colors of labels still being just as padded and high quality looking. Unfortunately when my son tried them on they were too tight for him to consider even breaking in. My son has never needed a wide before and does not need a wide in any other shoe. This shoe has never run narrow for us before. After wearing these "wide" shoes for 3 weeks in a row, and me telling him to give them time to stretch out, he complains that they pinch the front part of the outside of his foot (behind his toes). His feet are not super wide. He just barely measures a wide. I would like to send these back, but we have had them for a while now.
