Char-Broil Gas2Coal 440 Hybrid Grill Gas Barbecue, Black, 61 x 24 x 46 cm

We initially ordered the 330, it had to go back but we were persuaded to order the 440. To be honest when it arrived I thought it was huge, but once built and used we've come to rather like the size. It allows you to use the charcoal on one side and the gas on the other. This is actually quite useful, especially when you are trying to get the hang of using the charcoal feature. We've not really found massive issues with the cleanup as some have reported. If you leave the charcoal to cool, then remove the tray carefully you don't really have much to clean up, it's mostly the tray. We are not looking to keep a sparkling surface on the unit, so not really ensuring we go back to pristine state after each use. This makes using it easier, so we'll do it more. The heat from the charcoal is not as great as the gas, and once you have got it lit, then left it open till the coals turn white. You do really need to close it to cook we've found, but the gas adds the ability to control the cook and push it forward if you are getting caught behind. My skills are a part of this issue... The build quality seems very good, it was an awkward build but not particularly difficult. The assembly under the gas ring made you think twice as it didn't look right and the instructions are rather vague. My local gas supplier assure me it is right and he'd though the the same the first time he saw a gas mixer like that. Generally quite happy so far, glad we got the larger one. Shame the back is so open, for airflow, it makes it rather open to the elements, but the cover solves that.

We have been considering this bbq for a long while and finally bought it. We do not regret the purchase what so ever. It is definitely the best bbq we’ve used so far and really happy we made the purchase. The bbq is the perfect size to host friends and family but also not too large. It looks really smart and really pleased with the quality. Since buying it we have recommended it to a few friends and they have also purchased it. Assembly was tricky but other than that we love the bbq.

Love this BBQ and the option to use either gas or charcoal or both. Assembly takes a while but is logical if you take your time. Allow at least 3 hours. Well built, quality BBQ. Very pleased so far!!

So far so good, very sturdy and looks great.Not that easy to build and unless you are super good at diy you might struggle.There are a few bolts that required smaller tools, due to the right angles.Had to improvise on one but as the screws didn’t fit the pre-threaded holes, which wasn’t ideal.Very good value for money.

this is a great BBQ, easy to assemble (if you take your time and read the instructions), and looks great.However, I bought this as I prefer to BBQ over charcoal but I also like the convenience of gas, I have been using a dual fuel BBQ for the last five years and fancied a better looking grill.I have just used it for the first time and am now looking for a solution, (any ideas welcome) when you use the charcoal trays they take a long time to ignite using the gas burners, I got so fed up waiting I removed the coals and put them in my chimney starter. A minor inconvenience, once the coals were back in the pan and the grills in place the food was an inch above the coals which meant almost instant incineration on the surface and uncooked on the inside. I would have given this five stars if I had been able to cook on the coals.

Brilliant gas/ charcoal combo. No more pre burning charcoal, just let the gas ignite and turn off.

So pleased with this.....Decided to go for a decent BBQ this year and also paid to have it assembled and installed.....Really would recommend paying just a little extra to have put together for you and everything connected..BBQ itself is fantastic...good quality, sturdy and looks amazing on my patio....delighted with BBQ and service and would highly recommend.. Oh it also comes with a connector so you dont need to buy a separate one like I did... also note that best to get a 6KG gas canister and this will fit inside the BBQ itself but not the larger one.

Si vous suivez le mode d'emploi, le montage est long mais facile.Etant minutieux, j'ai mis 1h30-2h00 environ. Pour certaines étapes, il est préférable d'être à deux.En utilisation, le barbecue répond pleinement à mes attentes. Le lancement d'une cuisson au charbon est très rapide avec le gaz. Je pose le charbon, j'allume le gaz+feu et je ferme le couvercle;Dès que la température atteint 250°, je coupe le gaz.C'est extrêmement rapide et on redécouvre la cuisson au barbecue.Je l'utilise également en mode plancha 100% gaz. C'est vraiment top de pouvoir cuire des légumes ou poissons rapidement.Le barbecue en lui-même est de bonne qualité.Je suis vraiment satisfait de cet achat. Top !!

Devo dire che e una cosa seria. Imballaggio perfetto con tanta cura per tutti i pezzi. Qui 5/5Si presenta robusto e molto bello anche da vedere.Non date retta a chi dice che ci vuole un attimo per montarlo.....non e particolarmente difficile però ci vuole un po' di tempo e due persone ad un certo punto.Qualche cosa poco chiara nelle istruzioni.....qualche pezzo ( dei accessori) che non si capisce l'uso.....però tutto sommato si rivela un ottimo prodotto. Vale la spesa un po' oltre la media.....Consiglio vivamente.Appena messo in funzione quindi niente opinioni sul utilizzo a lungo termine.

Estupenda barbacoa, el tamaño ideal para grupos grandes. Ademas, al tener la opcion de encender menos fuegos, también es práctica para pocas personas. Lo de pasar de gas a carbón, un gran plus.

Super pratique de pouvoir choisir le mode de cuisson soit charbon de bois et/ou au gaz il à un très beau design à recommander

Si comme moi vous hésitez entre le gaz et le charbon, ce barbecue et fait pour vous !. Il est incroyable, la description n'est absolument pas exagérée. Le seul point ennuyeux, au charbon de bois vous allez devoir nettoyer la cuve de récupération aussi au cause des poussières. Mais franchement il est top je ne regrette absolument pas mon choix
