La Baleine Fine Crystals Canister, Sea Salt, 26.5 Ounce

In checking other reviews I felt I was taking an unreasonable risk ordering this sea salt. I was expecting to begin with a clean-up routine in the shipping box but mine arrived in perfect condition. I do agree with other reviewers that for the home Chef/Baker the size and shape of the container is not very convenient. It's tall and if you lay it down, like anything else, it will vanish from view in the pantry. PRO TIP: If you're replacing salt that was in a clear/squat plastic container, DON'T throw that container away. Keep it, clean it and pour the La Baleine into it and voila, you're back in business. My next surprise shouldn't have been a surprise. The salt poured right out of the container...there was no caking but, I should have known. I live in the Arizona desert. If there was suddenly enough humidity here to cake a pound of salt I think U-Haul would sell out all its trailers. (your mileage may vary). Lastly, taste. How does it taste? I got nuttin'. It supposed to taste like salt and, well, it tastes like salt. VICTORY! Recommended. Enjoy!

Very good product. Excellent quality. Added some to my chowder last night. It added that "je ne sais quoi" to the chowder. Excellent seasoning that will elevate food from the ordinary to something special. . .

This is good sea salt . But container is always broken . This is expensive sea salt. .

Best salt. Never clumps! Always pours or shakes right out. Been using for 25 years.

I've been using only Sea Salt for 11-years now. La Baleine is by far the BEST Sea Salt I've ever tried! The flavor is wonderful. Most importantly is the size & EASE OF USE of the product. Many similar items have an AWFUL spout to use as a shaker, on others it's hard to get out so you wind up USING TOO MUCH. La Baleine has the PERFECT size spout that NEVER CLOGS - for this alone I'd only buy La Baleine!

First used this product in a high quality sea food store. High quality. This is the only salt I use.

Besides getting all of the minerals that are refined out of table salt, this salt tastes great. Very happy with the purchase. My usual brand was not available. I will definitely purchase this again when I need a sea salt that is table ready.

Please don’t ship this product in an envelope, Canda post had to repackage my salt as it was damaged. Over all I’m Still happy with the product lol

Love this brand. We are in a remote region so it is hard to find in the local stores. unfortunately the three packages we received, the salt did not flow freely and we have to bust it up to be able to use it.
