I have 2 goldfish that have grown so much in over a year. I have a very knowledgeable young man who cleans my tank monthly and he was the one to tell me about Hikari and said to only give them not quite a full teaspoon once a day. They are very healthy. **Q: Can you feed to small koi?** A: Yes, you can and they will do quite well on it. There is also an excellent Hikari mini-Koi food, but as long as the koi are small the baby pellet gold is adequate. Be sure, though, to get this size. **Q: Are these sinking pellets?** A: Pellets float, but eventually sinks if not eaten by fish in a day. **Q: I was told you don’t want to feed your gold fish floating food because they gulp in air which makes the susceptible to swim blatter. Is this true?** A: It really depends on the fish. Fancy breeds are ones u shouldn't feed these too. Regular gold fish and kois do just find with these. Charlie is the best example. Hes 4 yrs old and hadn't had any health issue so far.
