Clean, modern, silent clock
West Elm sells this clock for $50. I think the clocks sold here are the defects that West Elm turns away. Mine arrived with the minute hand completely bent out of shape, but I could easily reshape it. There were also some scratches on the concrete that I could only see if I was holding the clock in my hands and looking for the scratches. Once the clock was up on my wall I couldn't see any defects. I really like this clock, and the numbers are extremely easy to read - I actually don't understand how anyone would think it was an issue. One thing to note - it is made of solid concrete and is therefore fairly heavy.A major benefit - it is completely silent. There's no second hand and there's no ticking whatsoever.

Heavy clock, questionable quality
Very heavy, nice clock. It is sort of hard to read the numbers from a distance, but typically time is told my the position of the hands, not from actually reading the numbers. the hands are flimsy and I bent them taking it out of the packaging. The frame is beautiful, but it feels like it is going to fall off. The concrete itself appears somewhat green in color, rather than a nice gray. Overall, it's a nice, industrial clock and works well for what I need.

Great buy!
I don’t understand a lot of the reviews on this clock because it’s great. I have had it on my list for about a year and finally got it. It’s everything I expected.A lot of reviews complain about the clock face being green. I think it’s exactly the same tone as the product picture. It has a very natural appearance and the font of the numbers is pleasant.Speaking of the numbers, there were a few complaints about not being able to see them. I have a dark room with low lighting and o have no problem seeing it, and the copper hour markers help on the few occasions I have had a bit of trouble. Also the packing was fine and the clock came in perfect condition.

Great Concrete but Copper looked pink
The concrete look of the clock is great but the frame looks more pink than I had expected. If my walls were painted in a color with a bit of a blue tint, I think it could've worked, but my walls are a warm, peachy white and it just accentuated the pink tone of the clock.

The concrete face color is green, not gray
The concrete color is not gray as pictured, but medium-toned olive green. Otherwise, it's a great-looking clock. However, I am returning because of the color.

Fresh & Striking
A fresh modern design that works well with any decor. The concrete & copper combo is unique. Others who say you can't read the numbers miss that the bright copper hour markers stand out very brightly. Hung in my kitchen and very eay to tell the time. If you need numbers, buy a digital clock. Note that it is a heavy clock compared to the typical featherweight plastic.

Attractive but not the most functional clock
Super attractive clock. However I don't see it still working in five years.

Works good. Non-tick clock
Unique look. Works good. Non-tick clock. However, the legs are very unstable. They can be easily bent with a casual touch. Wish the legs can be changed.

Lovely clock
This is a terrific clock.Well made and nicely different to the other wall clocks out there that all look rather similar to each other.I'm really pleased that I found this to compliment our newly decorated (grey) dining room.

Nice clock, colours a bit off.
The clock is well made and I like it, but the colour of the concrete is more greenish than the picture shows, and the copper is very pink. So other than that the colours were not quite what I thought, I like it very much.

Stylish minimalism on your wall
This moulded concrete Quartz clock with copper trimming is a pretty impressive clock if you're into minimalist styling. I was particularly impressed with the moulding of the face, smooth with no major blemishes, bubbles or pits. Obviously being formed of concrete it weighs more than a normal clock, but it's nothing a nail or screw won't be able to handle. The Quartz mechanism is nothing special... but when are they ever? At least it looks to be easily replaceable if it breaks as being moulded the clock has no back. It takes one AA battery. All in all this is a very stylish looking clock.

Classy designer clock
I am genuinely impressed with this beautiful designer clock. Out of the box it is reassuringly heavy and certainly feels like a quality item. The bright, brushed copper surround contrasts effectively with the smooth concrete face. Turning it over reveals a conventional electric mechanism, powered by one AA battery. The incised digits are clean and precise and the clock just gets on with its business quietly and efficiently (there's no audible tick). My only criticism would be that the grey hands against a grey face are not strikingly visible and maybe copper hands would have been ideal? No big deal though. This is a lovely item which should complement any room. Its vaguely industrial vibe makes me want to watch Metropolis or listen to some Rammstein!

Too bad...
Very cool idea. Bought for ny 19 year old son's room. We were both disappointed when we just couldn't get it to keep time. First time I've ever had a problem with an Umbra product.
