Very warm
Very warm, very comfortable. Throw so.e hot hands in there and it's like a oven for your hands. I sometimes keep my call in there, my range finder in the front pocket(not heated) and my release so it's not cold when I shoot.

Just buy it!!!
Husband LOVES this brand. He does winter Texas hunts where thick, warm gear is a must. It is expensive but it is worth every penny! Do not hesitate to buy if you want to stay warm! Sizing is spot on. Super comfortable. Water proof. Wind proof. Cold proof. Quality is amazing. He swears by this gear.

A well designed cold weather hunting jacket
The jacket is as warm as promised on the Sitka site. I wear it at temps below 35F. On longer walking I either attach hot to the backpack or leave the zipper open. The quality is top notch but the prize is steeper than I would like it. Buy once, cry once, love it forever. I saw comments on previous review that it needs a hood. I disagree. Most likely you will have a hooded sweater or light hooded jacket underneath. If not too cold you can just bring a neck gaiter and hat. I also like the fact that I do not need very thick gloves anymore since the built in handwarmer muff works exceptionally well. It also has built in pockets for thermal packs should you ever decide to go out and hunt in subzero conditions. This jacket will keep you warm.

Perfect for cold weather
Have had this jacket for almost 3 seasons and it is very warm for cold day sits. I can wear this jacket it 30-40 degree weather with just a t-shirt on underneath and still be warm
