Electrical setup is worth the time and money for the larger 3 person unit
Received our sauna yesterday and have already been able to use it one time. Already super happy with the result! It heated to temperature in about 20-30 minutes (we set it to 130 but does go to 150).The unit came in three large boxes and though we have a fairly narrow stairway (two sets of stairs with a landing going down to our basement), we were able to get it down there fairly easily. The items are incredibly heavy and we did utilize our teen son for transport but my husband and I could likely have done it with just us too (we are in our mid thirties with ample strength but if you don’t have the stamina I highly suggest hiring help). The instructions came in French only with minimal visual aids. I was able to download an app that would translate text on a page to English but it wasn’t a ton of help. The good news is that within 1.5-2hours of getting the unit downstairs We were able to piece enough of the instructions together to get it set up and functioning. We are fairly text savvy and are experienced with putting items together so if you are not this process will likely take you much longer.I did wish that the vendor offered a video with instructions for set up because it would have made this process much much easier. I may go back and do a small tutorial and post it later. The big thing on this unit was two weeks ago we did hire an electrician to come in and make sure that our electrical setup fit with specs. I found our Electrician on a local mom’s Facebook group thread. But I contacted at least a dozen via text that I found between Facebook groups and Nextdoor and even Google search. I compared quotes and was able to complete this portion for $250. I also tipped the guy as he did it after hours. We did not pull a permit for it but I felt comfortable with the end result.Luckily we have two electrical panels in the house and one of them is located in the basement so pulling a line for the location we wanted to put the unit was fairly easy because we Connected to an outlet that was just below our electrical panel. This seemed to make our electricians life easier because he didn’t have to go through a bunch of wall. So keep in mind this likely affects cost.He did have to cut out a small portion of the drywall but did a really good job of making it look cosmetically OK. He did tell us that he does not do drywall work so we understood that it would be our responsibility to repair it but it’s really minor easy stuff and we would likely be able to do it simply with a drywall patch. After working to increase the amps that we needed (which are outlined in the specs for the sauna which I screenshot and sent to him via text for review) I did mention that I thought the outlet type was different from standard. He likely didn’t have the alternate outlet cover type at the time and said he doubted that they needed to change that out. But he did tell me that if for any reason his work didn’t serve our needs he would come back free of charge. As you’ll see from the pictures I posted we did indeed need a non-standard outlet face. When we receive the unit and I realize this, I texted the electrician a picture and he was able to tell me which outlet cover to purchase at Home Depot to do it myself. He told me he was willing to do it himself but I’d have to wait to the weekend and I felt confident trying it myself first (I’m a pretty tech savvy lady when it comes to the tech basics and have installed two nest thermostats. But if you’re not as strong in this area, I’d suggest getting this completed by someone who is comfortable). Our electrician did walk me through install over the phone and also via text so I was clear on what it would require for the change out so that I would remain protected from an electrical shock (make sure you turn off the breaker during install and remember to turn it back on before putting the plate back over the outlet to make sure you don’t see sparks as an extra precaution). I was glad I got his input to prevent putting it together incorrectly and risking fire hazard. The reason this special prong outlet is likely required is because it prevents the user from ever trying to use this amperage for anything other than what it’s suited for.As for the function of the unit itself I am not a sensitive person but did not get any sense that this unit emits EMF’s. It was incredibly comfortable to sit in, it smells beautiful because the wood is amazing, and it was a great way to relax at the end of the day. My husband and I fit quite easily but adding one more person would have been less enjoyable. We contemplated sticking with the two person unit over the three person and I’m so glad we spent the extra money for this unit. I would highly recommend purchasing it as saunas are said to lengthen life expectancy by up to 10 years and I think this unit is a great out-of-the-box solution having used many different types of saunas and sweat lodges over my lifetime.

Incredible value
We purchased the Dynamic Sauna Maxxus 3 person sauna. Purchased through Amazon sale ~$2800. Since there were mixed reviews we read previously, we wanted to update our experience.Shipping: The lack of coordination by the delivery vender is real. We were just fortunate to be available when they called and reported 20 minutes to delivery. I am not sure how that would have gone if we were not home. Our package arrived without damage inside or out. I know others have reported some problems with that issue, but our experience was fine.Assembly: The glass panels are quite heavy and would recommend 3 people. The directions aren’t perfect, but overall the assembly is pretty straight forward and takes less than an hour.Function: The unit works perfectly. Low 130s F in 20 minutes and 140s F in 30 minutes. (climate controlled basement location). I have read about some people installing additional heat to their dymanic sauna or modifying the thermostat, but for us the 150 F max seems to be all the heat we would want. 20-30 minute sessions will result in a towel drenched in sweat, so I am not sure what more one wants out of a sauna experience. The are trade offs with corner design with lots of glass. The positive is the lack of claustrophobic feeling/view. Being able to face and talk to your sauna partner without looking to the side is nice. The down side is ~180 degrees of FAR IR radiant heat. I see why some models incorporate emitters on the front wall for more of a 360 degree radiant heat, but then they lose the open feel.Quality/value: At this price point for a 3+ person sauna, the value is incredible. There really were surprisingly VERY few insignificant cosmetic flaws at this price point. We did LIGHT finish sand some interior surfaces where the factory sanding left a bit of roughness.

I Love The Sauna
The sauna was shipped very quickly. I did receive with hidden damage. The glass door was broken. After a week the replacement door was received. I had to live with the heavily scratched door panel from all the broken glass as the factory would only replace the door.I do love the spa. It was a straight forward assembly with no problems. In my opinion it is sturdy once completely assembled. The floor was sturdy after installing the heating panel. The Bluetooth stereo works really good. Paired with my iPhone quickly and sounded good. I did have a problem with it getting hot and shutting off. I put a thin piece of insulation board with aluminum facing the interior of the sauna to reflect heat away from unit on the bottom and sidewalls of the wood housing making sure not to impede the top vent holes. I have had no more problems. The lights work very well. Two exterior lights that have adjustable angles. It has one interior panel with alternating light colors. My wife and myself used the unit last night. The temperature surrounding the sauna was 65 degrees. It took 35 minutes to reach 150 degrees. After reaching the set temperature the heating will cutoff until it drops 2 degrees and then restore the heat to reach the set temperature. It has an adjustable time with a 60 minute top time. If you preheat you can raise the time back to 60 minutes after entering. To this point, we love the sauna. It looks very nice and well made. I would buy it again. My only recommendation would be to tear down the pallet before signing and make sure there is no damage. In my case everything looked good externally, but had the concealed broken door.I think at this price point being able to achieve 150 degrees and the quality it would be hard to beat.
