A Great Knee Support
I’ve had knee issues for 30 years and have never felt comfortable running. However, I had a solid incentive to try and run a 5k recently and felt a knee sleeve would be helpful. Whilst training I tried using 5mm neoprene sleeves that I used for CrossFit. They helped with support but were hot and would always slip down. After a quick search I found these and decided to take a gamble, despite what felt like a fairly high price. I’m happy to report that after four 5k runs, I can comfortably say that these are the best knee sleeves I’ve ever worn and worth every penny. I love the support they provide, but also love how they stay in place and are also breathable so don’t get too hot. I am going to purchase another one for my right knee which is also grumbly from time to time, and I urge you to do the same if you have knee issues but want to continue playing sport.

A lot of support, no pain
I upgraded from neoprene drug store knee braces to this. It’s a bit more work to get in place but the support is phenomenal. I’m running longer with zero pain. I followed the size guide on the product page and am happy with the fit. It’s a couple sizes smaller than I wore in neoprene. Amazon claims this product is often returned due to fit so check your size carefully. Good breathability too. W Orth the price

In an entirely different category from other braces I've tried
I've tried a couple cheaper brands of knee brace before, and this one blew them away in two major ways. First and foremost, efficacy. I practice martial arts (BJJ and karate) pretty regularly, and I've been developing a little bit of knee pain lately. Every other knee brace I've put on while working out before has _helped_, but not really fundamentally changed my situation. My knees would still hurt, just not as much. This thing, on the other hand, completely relieved my pain. I woke up with a little bit of soreness in my knee, put one of these braces on and then went to jiu jitsu and rolled for about an hour, and afterwards that knee felt _perfect_, like nothing had ever been wrong with it. I can't praise the results of this thing highly enough. The second big difference is comfort. The other braces I've tried have basically come in two flavors. One of them was a segmented contraption with three separate velcro attachments on the back, one below the knee, one behind it, and one above it. Which should theoretically be okay, but in practice the straps would often end up getting squished together and pinching some skin, and it wouldn't stay put very well. Then I tried one that was basically just a fabric tube you shove your leg through, which stayed in place better, but had one critical flaw: there was just as much material on the back of the knee as the front, which means when my leg bent it would bunch up behind the knee and chafe. That got extremely uncomfortable. The Bauerfeind is basically like the second type, with one crucial difference--it's actually woven with more material on the front of the knee than the back. It also has a lighter, more loosely knit fabric, which helps as well. The result of it all is that I had absolutely no discomfort after wearing it for an extended period of time. Of course the other factor is staying in place, which I'm afraid is something of a struggle with every knee brace. I had _much_ less trouble keeping this one in place than I did with any other brace, but I did still feel the need to fidget with it a couple of times in an hour. Although most of the time it turned out I really didn't need to adjust it at all, it's just that it naturally sits a little bit low on your kneecap because of the way the gel ring is contoured

utility as a brace, robustness of the product since it is for outdoor use.
A good solid knee brace. It supports the knee fairly well and is fairly comfortable. It is slightly fragile and one should pull it on using the yellow side support braces or it will tear if it is a tight fit. It does a fairly good job bracing but I am still trying to evaluate the patella support since i suffer from patellofemoral disorder. It does protect the patella but I will need to use it more to figure out if it supports as well as specific patella braces.

Is this worth the price? Yes, it is.
In my mid-50s, I'm still training jiu jitsu and muay Thai, which persistently causes swelling in my surgically repaired left knee (40% meniscus tear nine years ago). My knee is holding up fine, but it gets sore. I've now blown cash on nine different knee sleeves on Amazon, and the Bauerfeind is far and beyond the best. The cheaper ones, $15-$25 for a pair, are worthless IMHO: they are little more than a sock pulled over my knee. Of the $40-$65 variety, they generally provide decent knee support, although they tend to be 1) bulkier, and not ideal for training, playing sports, etc.; or 2) odd or less than ideal fit; or 3) both. The Bauerfeind is slightly bulkier than the ~$20 knee socks, but the fit is snug without being constricting, and it provides better support than anything else I've tried. Worth noting, too, jiu jitsu puts a lot more stress on a knee sleeve than, say, playing basketball or soccer (e.g., wrestling level changes, knee slice, scrambles, etc.). Personally, I don't find a very noticeable difference between this older version and the newer Bauerfeind; they are both excellent, durable, and easy to wash, so go with the color/pattern you prefer.

BEST
Best knee sleeve I’ve ever tried. Feels very secure and stays in place 90% of the time. I play Futebol and do jujitsu and mma. Reliable for all of these contact sports. Someone else wrote to only pull them up or down by the plastic inserts-probably very good advice.

Great for tennis
I tell everyone to get this. Whenever my knee bothers me, I wear this while playing tennis, and it actually feels better afterward. I think it helps realign the kneecap.

Not worth the cost
I'm really not impressed with this sleeve. The quality seems iffy, it's hard to pull on, feels tight, like it probably should, but also seems to slip while being worn. It feels cheap. I don't trust it to last... and the shipping was poor. It arrived two days later than it was supposed to. Not worth the investment in my opinion, and I'm not one to leave reviews like this... but this was supposed to be a helpful investment.

Best knee brace and I’ve worn many
This brace is the best I’ve used for my acl/mcl knee injury. It stays put and is the perfect support in all my activities. Don’t be afraid to order smaller than your measurements. I ordered a medium first based on my thigh measurement but it was too big. The small is perfect. The company was great to work with for the refund too.

efficace. Par contre mettre à l'envers pour ceux dont la peau est sensible
Bonne taille, fait très bien son job, mais, perso, je les mets à l'envers, car le truc à l'intérieur irrite ma peau, dans l'autre sens non.
