I have been an esthetician now for over a decade. Chemical peels have always been my specialty. I love how they can influence the skin so profoundly without surgery. This was my first experience with mandelic acid and I was blown away by the results. I loved it so much that I purchased another brand with the same percentage. I did not get the immediate and noticeable results with the other brand. I have come to love this peel and noticed immediate results with the first time use on myself and all of my clients. There isn't a lot of complicated instructions. I use 2 passes over the skin and it has become many of my clients favorite new peels also. It has helped grow my business back after the quarantine/virus scare. Now I have clients that come as often as I will let them just to get this peel. It also isn't painful at all. If there are any open lesions, then obviously there is a bit of a sting but it doesn't cause any strong sensations or leave the skin red or blanched at all (or at least not in my experience so far). I did notice some skin peeling after the fourth or fifth peel on my own skin. It was minimal and easy to exfoliate with the use of an enzyme mask. This is a great lunch time chemical peel that will get you noticed in the same day. It makes the skin look very fresh and clean while minimizing pores and fine lines. Even though I would not consider this to be aggressive, it has a wonderful way of cleaning out black heads and dirty pores. Problem areas are no longer problem areas after several uses. I would highly recommend this peel for people of all ages.

I have used this peel 3 or 4 times now (once a week) and I really recommend it.I have noticed that my acne has calmed down and my skin looks genuinely glow-y the more I use it. I also noticed that the very fine lines near my eyes (crow's feet area) are less visible as are my laugh lines. I am 30 years old and don't have many wrinkles to begin with but I have noticed lines on my forehead, near my eyes, and laugh lines are starting to show up as I age. This has definitely made a difference and the small lines I saw before, are way less visible.I do not have sensitive skin so I'm not sure how it would work with people that do. I put 3-4 drops on a cotton ball and apply that all over my face. I started out at a 30 second application and have gradually increased to 1 minute because I wasn't sure how my skin would react. I've noticed that the only place I experience any burning/tingling sensation is where I have active acne. This happens to be in my chin area. It wasn't harsh at all, very tolerable. I have a neutralizer from the same company and use that to stop the peel process. It did not dry my skin out too bad, not to where it was peeling or anything. I did make sure to follow up with a moisturizer after and use sunscreen in the mornings.The amount per application is minimal and you get a lot for the price. This bottle will definitely last a long time, even if I do start using it more than once a week. That is a GREAT deal especially compared to going to a dermatologist.

I’m not sure what this stuff is, but one thing I can say with absolute certainty - it is definitely NOT a 40 percent a mandelic acid chemical peel! I’ve been using a 25 percent mandelic acid peel from another manufacturer for the past six months with incredible results, so thought it was time to increase to a 40 percent solution. I’ve seen ZERO peeling with this product. Even the mildest of acid chemical peels will sting a little, but this product did not - I might as well have just splashed water in my face. I’m very disappointed, and if I could I would ask for my money back (it’s way past the return by date that Amazon allows).
