Will it do both headlights?

Yes, this is an approximately 4 meter long roll. Unless your vehicle has unusually large headlights (e.g. Hyundai Veloster or Ford Super Duty), it is enough to reseal two headlights and still have some left over.

can this be reused when you open the headlight case a second time and want to reseal for the second time?

Yes, this sealant can be reused. You may need to fill in some spots in the channel if any is lost or removed while reopening the headlight. But the sealant itself can be softened with heat time and again. 265F for 7 minutes does the trick every time.

Would this product work to seal a headlight onto a car?

No, it is not intended to be used as an adhesive. It is a sealant. The first warm day and the sealant would soften to the point that the headlight would fall off if this was the only thing used to keep it attached.

Quality product, works well

Used this to re-seal the headlights on my Lexus LS460 after retrofitting clear lenses and upgraded high beam projectors. This was the first time I'd ever opened a pair of headlights so I don't have experience with any other butyl glue products to compare this to. That said I found this product effective and easy to use - I found that if you throw the box in the oven for a bit it's that much easier to work with.
