Technically slightly oversized by measurement, but maybe that's why it's not technically advertised as fitting my vortex tripod, but if you don't mind giving the locking lever or whatever locking mechanism you have on your base a little extra push, it's great, fits tighter and with less movement than some original factory qd plates for my vortex pro gt tripod

This QR head fit my older Vivitar 3000 tripod perfectly. The plastic QR head seems to made of a much heavier material compared to some other brands that were not a good fit and the metal fasteners used to attach the head to the camera seem to be of good quality and are well attached to the head. It has a smaller camera mounting surface area than the original QR head but it does not seem to be a problem in use.

It worked on a canon tripod from 2006 ! Just make sure you measure properly the tripod

Good quality little piece, nothing against the product but unfortanetly it did not work for me as i brought it to replace the broken plastic one for my bauer laser level tripod i use for my spotting scope. It is too small for that if you're doing the same

This is the only replacement mount I could find to fit my Promaster 6100 tripod. This is a tighter fit, but works fine. I am very satisfied with this mount. I’m not sure how durable the cork mounting surface is though.
