My stylist recommended this. I have wavy hair at best. This helped strip the heavy product that had built up over the years. Once a month seems plenty for the treatment.

I've used this product before and love it. This time I received an empty but totally sealed package. It has air in it but no product. At $4.13 an empty pkg. is quite expensive. I don't see anyway to contact the seller except to process a return. Such a tiny pkg. isn't worth the trouble it is to return. So disappointing.

I never leave reviews, but I’m genuinely obsessed with this formula. I grew up with naturally curly hair, but chronic illness made my hair dull, flat and prone to thinning. I’ve worked really hard for the last 3 years to get my natural curls back, to varying degrees of success with different products and regimens. This product is easily the best bang for my buck, and my curls are much more defined than they’ve been in over a decade. I wash my hair first with JVN volume or hydrate shampoo, then apply this product, followed by JVN volume or hydrate conditioner OR hydrate deep conditioner. It’s a night-and day difference when I use this product versus when I just have a regular wash day with JVN alone. Highly recommend!!

This product was good, I didn’t like it as much as their hard water buildup remover but it wasn’t bad. Can’t say that it did much for my curls though, atleast long term. My hair gets super curly whenever water touches it so it’s hard to tell whether this product was the cause or amplified it. My curl definition didn’t last long though atleast with this product alone. I find that hair milks or heavier cremes work better for my long term curl definition. Maybe it will work better for others but for me it was just an average product, probably wouldn’t buy again.

So I almost felt like I should give it four stars, but there’s no real problems with the product. My hair is just so short that I actually couldn’t tell you accurately exactly how good of a product it is. I will say that I fried my short hair with bleach, and this was my attempt at recovering what I could of my curl pattern. It definitely made some improvement, if you have long hair get more than a packet tho!!! I ended up chopping off the parts of my hair that I just didn’t like the way they were curling, but I would try it again if I felt like my texture was getting away from me! Like any product with Chemicals it will remove semi permanent hair color.
