Sorry, this motor will work for the previous generation Nissan Primeras (1990-1996), but not the 1997-2002 models, like yours. If using it in a 3D printer look into a TMC2208 or TMC2209 if your control board support UART-configured stepper drivers.

Is this an ac or a dc motor?

Well, I don't know if you know about stepper motors, but it is DC. Depending on your application, it will work from 12-24V. It uses about 2 amps, but will work fine at about 1.1 amps.
