This is a great gift for anyone older than 3 years old. I purchased this for my niece during Christmas and its the only gift she played with. Here are some details: 1. Appearance: Very colorful 2. Assembly: Already put together, nothing to do except take it out of the box, really 3. Length/Height: The blue piece is not a rod, its an elastic band that collapses, just appears to be extended/stiff in the photo. As you place your feet on the red spongey bottom you then grip the red handles and pull it up toward you, the blue band easily stretches to accommodate your height. I used it myself and confirm that this thing works great even for an adult. 4. Bounce ? Yup, bounce away ! I was at first not sure if this spongey bottom piece would have any bounce to it but I was surprised. Its very bouncy! It also gives an intended squeak sound with each bounce (kids love it). The cushion makes it safe for your floors at home, doesn't scratch/dent/discolor or affect it in any way that I could tell. 5. Safety: As compared to the original pogo jumpers, this one seems safe enough. I would not have my young child jumping on one of those original stiff pogo sticks because they won't have as much control over it and it is not cushioned like this one. Overall: Fun, looks great, safe for both child and your floor, great bounce, will not necessarily outgrow it right away like other toys, recommend it. Happy Shopping ! George

You should buy one for every kid you know! This is the coolest toy! Better yet adults get to use it too. I had to check it out first of course. My four year-old son loves it. It took him a little bit to get the hang of it because you have to balance. We have been using it inside because I’m not sure how it would fair on the concrete over time. The bottom is foam and then there are two rubber tubes attached to a handle. It seems well made. It was such a great price for so much fun. The only negative is the squeaking noise every time you bounce but that may wear out over time. I was very pleased with the shipping. It arrived 3 says earlier than the estimated arrival and it was Christmas time. I would highly recommend.

I got 2 of these for my 5 yr old by mistake (i didn't realize i had put 2 in my amazon cart!). I thought about returning the extra one, but after she started playing with it I thought I would keep the extra one so she and a friend could bounce around the house together. It is all soft and foamy and when you first try it you think it won't work, but it really bounces like a pogo stick - not as high, obviously, but adults and kids have had a blast with them at our house. it is easy to store since the "stick" part is actually soft and springy. For the price it is a fun toy, doesn't take up much room, and is durable enough for adults/teens to use as well. My 5 yr old gets it to make the squeeky sound about 1/5th of the time, which makes her happy. Why not 5 stars? It is made of foamy Nerf like material so you just can't bounce as high as you might like...

I recently did some reading about the importance of jumping, especially for girls, in keeping bones and muscles strong, and originally thought of getting a trampoline... but I was concerned about safety as my girls are still quite small - almost 6 and almost 4 years old. So then I thought maybe a pogo stick would work but when I saw this product on amazon I thought this would work much better and be easier on our carpets when used indoors. My older daughter got the hang of it immediately and my almost 4 year old needed a little help in coordinating pulling up with her arms while jumping so that her feet stay on the foam... she figured it out within a few tries though. They got a kick out of seeing me demonstrate for them as well :). I've had them try to count how many hops they can do in one go and this definitely gives them a work out! They also have a gymnic hop 45 and rody so they get a variety of options in hopping around the house everyday. Basically this is a handle bar that is connected with a rubber resistance band to a thick piece of foam with a squeaker inside. Because the band is flexible, it's easy to store away in a drawer or shelf as well. The quality is pretty good as far as I can tell. (I hopped on it just fine - I'm about 120 lb.)

Our 4 year old daughter has been asking for a pogo stick for ages. Out of all the toys she got this year, it was her favorite Christmas present. She had the hang of it after about 30 minutes, and loves bouncing around the house or outside. Other reviewers mentioned that the squeaking is annoying, but honestly, I barely notice it. It doesn't seem loud at all. Compared to all those battery operated toys that make endless amounts of noise, I would choose this any day. It's a bit too advanced for her 2 year old brother, but he's definitely taken an interest in it so we plan on buying another one down the road when he gets the hang of it. One of my daughter's 4 year old friends was playing over here the other day and went home and asked his parents for one too. Definitely one of my favorite toys so far!

I bought two of these for Christmas presents for my 2 little boys last year. One of them has survived! The other stopped squeaking after the first day and eventually the boys tore it apart. They really did have fun with them and for the price I paid, I was happy. I will say that they are easily torn up but I do have 3 boys so nothing really survives in my house! I wouldn't say that these are outside toys, and if they are to not use them on rough surfaces. They were perfect for my 5 and 3 year old.

Yes this is a great item... its a toy.. it's exercise but does not seem like it... my granddaughter who is right now living in NC with inlaws and tons of family all over take care of the "toys" dolls doll closes and little things like that - it all costs money but I now the fad will change in no time... I have raised my own.... heck - my daughter came home that the family all got together and painted the mermaid on my granddaughters wall.... the did a great job... but I feel activity toys are the most important... the Jumpers takes practice and use... can be used inside and out.... and works all the muscles and it is all giggles... so far sit using inside cause it is so cold...also - easier on the bottom when they fall... but no injuries to worry about.. simply jump jump and fall... it has been fun just watching the video's I get, it is clear she is really concentrating and then laughing.... great toy... well made...

Absolutly love this. I was nervous at first because of its flimsy-ness but turns out this toy is great. Its going to be my sons 5th birthday present. I ordered it(it came in 2 days like it was ssupposed to) and opened it as soon as it came in. I had a hard time believing hother posts about the parent jumping on it. And well I did. I must have done a ten to fifteen bounces on it and you can't even tell. The foam base goes right back to its original state. I'm also 5' 6" and 180 lbs. I'm very impressed with toy so far and. I'm so glad I bought it UPDATE: My son opened it today for his 5th birthday. He loves it. At 37 lbs and very clumsy he was still able to bounce on it with little difficulty. My 70 lb 7 year old had a great time bouncing on it. He tried bouncing on it too high and the base whipped up and hit him in the chin. It didn't phase him at all. Didn't hurt a bit. My 21 year old cousin even had a great time on it, having competitions to see who can bounce the most. We all LOVE this toy!!!

Bought two of these as christmas gifts for the kids, ages 5 and 8. Months later, they are still in use. Am told that a friend of theirs always wants to play with it when she visits. It is exercise, for sure. Helps develop balance skills and muscles.

Lots of fun for kids and adults! I’m able to use this easily and my 3 yo son is yet to get the hang of it. Makes a squeaky noise when bouncing off it. Sturdy product and you have to concentrate on keeping your feet on the base which is something my son is yet to master. Have put it away for a while till he’s a bit older.

However, my 5 year old grand-child does not seem to use it much.

I bought two of these and already had two more. They were for my 4 grandchildren ages 4 to 9. The Pogo Jumpers were fantastic. The children loved them and so did their parents. As the box said they are good right up to 250 pounds weight. We had a blast with them....lots of laughing. Even the dog had fun as he loved the squeaky sound the foot rest made!

Kids like it. Bought for my 6 year old but my 11 year old likes it too. The squeak is very annoying but that prob could be taken care of by finding something that could fit in and poke a whole in them (I haven't yet but I probably will very soon lol) . Quality seems decent. Hasn't fallen apart within the first week so doing good
