Are these as good as the mats that come in the excaliber

No these are not as good as the ones that come with the Excalibar. They are thicker and the holes are smaller. I felt that the air did not circulate through them nearly as well as the ones that come with the Excalibar.

Has someone tried growing small microgreens on them?

I use these combined with paper towels to grow microgreens. They work well by themselves for varieties with larger seeds like pea sprouts, but for smaller seeds like arugula, you'll need some sort of media to keep the seeds from falling through the holes in the sheets. Hope this helps

Can these sheets be used on a cookie sheet for dehydrating cranberries in an oven using the dehydrate setting?

Yes, but put 5hese sheets on a cookie rack to let the air flow underneath the food you’re drying.
