Not effective, not practical. Was broken after few days.

Don’t buy this item. We use it to time after it’s got bricked. the plastic hinges broke after a 3 days of usage.

I have been very disappointed with this product, the "helix" went out of its groove on the first usage. Since then the groove gets more and more damaged, the product is now almost unusable after two weeks of usage...

After reading reviews of other brands, I decided to get this one. The twisting mechanism is much better than other brands which parts are easily broken or snapped when you apply force to squeeze the garlic. The colour, design and material of Joseph Joseph are all good. Used three times so far. Hope it will last.

I love garlic more than life itself! I cook with it daily! I put it on or in EVERYTHING (be careful eating the chocolate cake at my house). :) So, I've gone through a LOT of different garlic presses over the years. Seriously, a LOT of them! I've tried nearly every design on the market. So, don't take this lightly: This is easily THE BEST GARLIC PRESS I have EVER used! It's easy to use. You can crush a LOT of cloves at once. It is easy to clean! It (so far) is very durable! This product is a WINNER! And, coming from me, that's a real endorsement!

I have used it on occasion but it much sturdier than other garlic presses I have used in the past. You just need to pay attention to the dots so that you know which way to turn the press. I am excited to use fresh garlic in my food again.

I've had this for a few months now and I couldn't be happier! This mechanism is ingenious and so easy to use. I had a ratcheting garlic press for years that I loved because I have sore, stiff weak hands. But other people would break by over ratcheting and pushing it through the faceplate. They stopped making it and the search for a new one began. So I have tried many different garlic presses over the years and nothing compares to this one by Joseph Joseph. I love it! I want to own the lemon squeezer, and the potato ricer and I don't even rice potatoes! But it is just that brilliant. Companys will be copying this design as soon as patents are off! This item would be great for anybody, but it would be especially great for anyone who suffers with arthritis, chronic pain, or anything else where you have problems with your and arms shoulders and or, upper back ... it is just so easy to use. Smiply line up the red dots and then squeeze using all of your upper body in a fluid motion, no effort or strain on your hands, wrist or shoulders. There is little to no resistance, no matter how many cloves are in there. But don't overfill to the point where the cloves come out the top. The threads have to be able to get started. If you want more than 3-4 cloves at a time it easy to reload and you don't even have to clear out the last bits of garlic. I'm loving the quality and design they put into all of their products! I'm slowly replacing everything in my kitchen with their stuff. It started with their Totem garbage can, and I was just blown away by it! Buy it, then buy one for a friend ... everything in life should be this easy and straight forward to use and maintain! I hope you like my review!
