Product didnt work and supplier made a drama to do the refund
MY SUGGESTION TO YOU: DONT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THIS SUPPLIER SPECIALLY THIS PRODUCT.the device didnt work and has different issues. the LED lights on the device turning on and when you connect the hdmi they go off then randomly turn on. the HDMI output carries video and there is video output but there is no audio output which is the main function of the device.we requested for refund 1 hour after we received and checked the device but the supplier asked for a picture of the product. we sent the pic then they said bring the device out and send us another picture. we did but still they didnt refund and at the end we asked for amazon support center help and finally supplier accepted to refund BUT they said after we receive the device then after 5 days they will refund. its already couple of days we requested for refund and still no one showed up to collect the product.

Works as it should
I bought this for my XBox that has no audio out. Perfect for that video monitor with no speakers. I patched an 1/8" to dual 1/4" 'Y' into my audio mixer and it worked a treat. Also tested earbuds directly out with no problems and had good volume (there is no volume control). No need for the 5v power cable as the HDMI provides it so....free USB cable, bonus! This item is quite small but delivers a big performance. A+++++

Exactly what I needed
When I went from the XBox 1 to the series X, I was disappointed to see I had lost my optical audio port. This was a simple and inexpensive solution to getting my wireless headphones back up and running.
