Sleek. Not itchy. Wears great. Love it.
Merino seems to be the latest thing now and well, I jumped on the bandwagon. I bought this shirt and I e other merino wool T a couple of weeks ago. I wanted to wear them for a while réforme reviewing. So here are the key points:1) it’s just as good quality as some of the more expensive ones out there on the market.2) the fit and drape are beautiful.3) the color is consistent and rich (I bought black)4) it truly does not pick up body odors and can be worn multiple days, if you decide you need to do that, just by airing it out inside out between wearings.5) it is lightweight and sturdy. I wore it on a hot day while hiking and I was no hotter than I would have been in my usual cotton t-shirt.6) if you’re into the “less is more” trends in wardrobe building and/or travel/packing, this one delivers well at a reasonable price. I plan to buy another one.

Excellent shirt
I have tried all the merino on and off Amazon and this is one of my favorite shirts. The fit is perfect, I am 5'0 34C, 30 inch waist. It's super flattering. Very soft. Love this shirt so much! I usually dislike crew necklines but this one is flattering somehow. I think it's a much better bargain then more expensive brands and I've tried them all, especially if you are vertically challenged like me. I've owned it for a couple of years now, I wash in cold and hang to dry. No pilling. It may be more fragile than a blend but it's still holding up great-- I hike, travel in it, wear it as a dressy top. Would buy again.

Bought 3 - Love them!
I wear a size medium normally and bought both medium and large in these. The medium fits very snuggly and makes a great under-shirt, but I am most comfortable in the large. These are fantastic shirts for the money, very soft and comfortable.I wore these backpacking after having worn cotton in the past and envying my sisters wool shirts which dry over night while my cotton was still wet in the morning. These were wonderful - they wick sweat away and didn't leave me chilled even when taking the pack off for a break in the mountain wind. The other thing I noticed is the durability of these shirts. I have worn them working outside and, while moving a very large log, I fell and scraped my back (and the shirt) on another log section. I fully expected to have ruined the shirt based on how horrid the fall and how bad my back felt but there wasn't any sign of damage and my skin was not abraded, truly surprising.I wear these constantly and only wish there were more colors to choose from. I don't think I will every buy cotton again! For washing, I always wash on the normal cycle and with like-weight items. I hang the shirts to dry to avoid the wear and tear of the dryer and to prevent the chance of pilling. So far, they are as good as when new after many, many washes and weeks of wearing them. I am very pleased with my purchase and recommend them for anyone looking for a natural material that wears well and is good for outdoor activities as well as the office.

Purple is nice, although thin. But grey fig stripe is slightly scratchy.
Comparison of Merino Tech, Merino Protect, and Metarino. All are very lightweight, and may show the outline of a bra. All are 100% merino. Merino Protect in the fig stripe color & Merino Tech are both fairly smooth, but both have a hint of scratchiness. (I've been wearing an 85% wool bra, so I'm used to wearing wool next to my skin.) Metarino and Merino Protect in dark purple felt truly soft, like high quality cotton.I don't think it would bother my skin to wear any of the fabrics. But the Merino Tech shirt is cut oddly high under the arms, which bugs me. (I don't have large arms.) It's also a little too short to be flattering. (I'm only 5'4" so I'm not too tall ;)The Metarino is a little too long for me, but I'm keeping it since it's the most comfortable & most flattering on me.Merino Protect fig stripe is shown in the 3-shirt comparison photo. The Merino Tech blue (on left) is heathered, which I like. The Metarino blue (on right) is also nice-- a clear dark blue with a hint of teal. You can see the difference in sleeve lengths, and shirt lengths, in the photo. The sizing in Merino Protect is weird. I've included photos of large (which is a bit snug for my taste, showing my nipple through my bra) and XL, which is a little baggy. The material is thin, which should be nice for keeping cool, but I don't plan to machine wash it because it seems delicate. Eucalan wool wash does a great job keeping wool soft and odor-repellent.

Soft, comfy, attractive
I haven’t washed them yet, but the two short sleeve tops that I purchased are very high quality, roomy size, comfortable against the skin, and an unexpected bonus - they don’t seem to wrinkle easily. At night they just get draped casually across a chair, or folded into a small square - but the next morning, a few minutes after putting them on, they look fresh and unwrinkled!

Soft and Comfortable
Love the color options of these shirts, appeciare the long length (looks great with a leather belt and jeans or a skort), happy that they provide coolness, warmth and odor protection! They're a win-win!

Material much too thin
I ordered this one, as well as the blue stripe one. The material of the grey is just too thin for me. I'm 70 and not about to wear a t-shirt that is completely see-through. While I planned to wear these two on a trip to Scotland, I'm also most likely to wear it as a base item; with a blouse, or sweater or other layer. I do, however, want to to be able for it to be a viable base layer if it does get hot out and I need to wear it alone. The blue stripe is somewhat thicker, but still thinner than I like; however, it feels a bit more wearable should I need to just have it on without an over layer. I also purchased a few higher priced ones, and they weave of the higher priced ones are tighter so this may be the reason for price differences.

True to size, very soft and the right amount of stretch
I always pick t-shirts by softness and this material is great. It works under a sweater or jacket or on its own. I also have a larger chest and the stretch really make this a win. I will order more for sure.

It doesn't smell
I've being using merino only as base layer during the winter, but I decided to buy the same material to test if the properties of merino would help my wife with the heavy sweating and smell (she has hyperhidrosis). After 4 times wearing it, she is impressed, she just would like to have the entire collection, unfortunately I can't afford it. ha ha ha.So, the item is 100% odorless, if you have hyperhidrosis, go for it, it may help you as it help her.
