Todos sabemos la descalabrada que recibió Gillette por culpa del infame comercial del 2017, y en un obvio intento de redención, lanzaron este bonito set clásico. Y la verdad, se nota que le metieron empeño. El set imita a los clásicos estuches de concha que se solían usar durante los 40s-50s, el estuche por si solo lo vale, es compacto y sencillo, perfecto para viajar, a parte del valor coleccionable. La maquinilla se compone por un mango texturizado y un cabezal Muhle/Edwin Jagger, la agresividad esta en un punto medio entre leve y media y hasta ahora no me he cortado. El texturizado del mango es muy bueno, ya que aporta muy buen agarre estando mojado. Una ventaja extra es que el mango y el cabezal pueden ser intercambiables con las de Edwin Jagger. Recomiendo comprarlo estando en oferta.

Excellent razor that is easy to load and shave with. The blades are sharp and smooth. Coupled with a good shaving soap or cream the razor glides effortlessly and easily across the face. Well-built and no alignment issues with the blade. There is a slight overhang to be aware off.

This is a great performing razor. Very sturdy and easy to use. Razor was in perfect condition when received yet inside of case was damaged. Some glue and a little patience and it was back together. I'm sure it was no fault of supplier. The rest of the case was in perfect condition. The evidence shows that it was from rough handling in shipping process.

Super smooth and close shave. Excellent craftsmanship and attention to detail with a flawless chrome finish. Have been using TTO butterfly razors since returning to DE shaving four years ago, but was looking for a three-piece razor that would be easier to maintain and clean when I ran across the Gillette Heritage-Inspired DE razor on Amazon. Have to admit a certain amount of nostalgia as a Gillette DE was first razor I used as a teenager, so I ordered the new Heritage razor. When it arrived I loaded it up with a new Feather blade (my favorite) and was not disappointed as it was easy to get a DFS shave with a quick one pass and a BBS shave with 2.5 passes. The trend in many new DE razors is heavy weight with long, thick handles. However, the slimmer, shorter handle of the new Gillette (hence the heritage-inspired design) provides easy maneuverability on the neck and under the chin while providing a more tactile and light touch around the corners. After a few shaves I found that I truly enjoyed the lighter and more nimble design. Blade gap can best be described as medium aggressive, and the slightly higher arch of the blade cap (compared to similar razors) provides a smooth civilized shave with virtually no irritation, even with multiple passes. Overall, the new Gillette Heritage razor is well suited for beginner and experienced shaver alike. Plus, it comes packed in a fine hard case for easy travel use.
