I love my Orient Ray 2! It is 100% genuine and a genuine warranty came along with the packaging. Tested the accuracy of the watch for a couple of days, and so far mine had -2 secs per day! Now that's an accurate automatic! Kudos to Orient for their inhouse movement!

Ho voluto regalare questo diver a mio figlio quindicenne come "premio" per la sua promozione. Il suo primo "Orologio" con movimento automatico con la O maiuscola. Si sta appassionando al ramo (come già sono appassionato io …ahia) e ci stava girando attorno da un po’ di giorni documentandosi con recensioni e video. Alla fine …sorpresa e l’ho acquistato. Sorvolo sull'effetto "unboxing" perché andiamo fuori tema ma siamo rimasti entrambi di sasso. Bisogna ammettere che solo aprendo la sua scatola/cofanetto l’orologio fa un figurone addirittura inatteso. L’impatto è importante, il contrasto di colori conferisce un aspetto splendido. L'orologio non è minuscolo, ma è di misura molto adatta anche ad un polso relativamente piccolo. In una parola lo definirei "sbalorditivo". Il contrasto tra i colori blu e l'acciaio della cassa e del bracciale è spettacolare e sembra un orologio decisamente più costoso di quel che è. L’ho pagato al momento 165€ e dico che sono soldi spesi bene. Difettucci per chi ha il palato sottile ma visto il prezzo …trascurabili: la chiusura del bracciale ha delle mollette laterali (a me non piace) il bracciale non ha prolunga per la muta la lunetta girevole è scivolosa con mani bagnate la corona è troppo piccola e scivolosa ha un vetro minerale … ed è un peccato perché nell’uso sportivo può capitare di graffiarlo. Se ne fate uso rigorosamente sportivo/impegnativo potrebbe avere qualche limite. Ma è veramente molto molto elegante. Non sfigura affatto se portato anche tutti i giorni per andare in ufficio o in altre situazioni non necessariamente sportive o estreme. Ha un peso discreto che lo fa sentire quando è al polso e si tratta comunque di un orologio dall'aspetto relativamente massiccio curatissimo nei dettagli e di ottima fattura, costruito con grande precisione. Davvero un bell’oggetto che consiglio assolutamente senza remore, maneggiandolo e anche a vista sembra molto più costoso rispetto al prezzo a cui viene offerto. Orologio giunto ben imballato con la sua scatola originale sigillata completamente "pellicolato" e nuovo di pacca con istruzioni e tutto quanto perfetto come atteso. Essendosi trattato di un regalo - molto desiderato dal destinatario - anche l'unboxing, con la bella scatola-cofanetto dotata internamente di cuscinetto bianco e tutte le pellicole sul bracciale, ha avuto un suo perché, ed è stata un’esperienza molto piacevole. Amazon ha consegnato come oramai ci ha abituati con tempistica eccellente.

No entiendo cómo venden este reloj a este precio, está increíblemente bien hecho y con una atención al detalle que enamora en cuanto lo ves. El bisel es ligeramente duro pero eso está muy bien, no quieres que se mueva por si solo como con marcas más caras con biseles excesivamente suaves. La pasta luminosa es de muy buena calidad y se mantiene brillante al menos media hora y visible cerca de dos (no lo he probado en agua, solo en aire). La corona roscada me da mucha seguridad de uso en el día a día. No es un reloj caro que me de miedo usar para todo, pero es tan bonito que dan ganas de cuidarlo. Una correa nato le da una vista diver aún más auténtica y lo hace algo más cómodo para la época de calor, vale la pena el cambio si lo paga usar de diario. Ya estoy viendo si comprar más relojes de Orient. El margen de exactitud que yo he notado no pasa de +-10 segundos al día

Before I get into the nitty gritty, I have to say this is one hell of a watch for the price you pay. I picked this up for just under $200, and honestly, you shouldn't be able to buy this much watch for so little. As just a watch enthusiast, I give this a 5/5 hands down, but.... as a diver as well, I can only give it a 4/5 (which I'll explain later). Watch Enthusiast: - amazing quality for the price. This watch is gorgeous, the lume is insane, the attention to details are apparent, the spin on the bezel is gorgeous, just overall this is a beautiful watch. It sits nicely on the wrist, the weight is nice, there is an excellent movement in the watch, and the case back with the two dolphins etched into the steel is a very classy touch. However, to pack this much watch into such a good price, of course Orient needs to cut costs somehow. They did this (my opinion) by using hollow end links and putting it on a cheap stainless steel bracelet. Is this a reason to shy away? Absolutely not. - things i wasn't thrilled about : I really really wished the watch used a 20mm band, not a 22mm. I personally think having the lugs closer together on this size of watch just adds a fine touch of elegance to the watch. But then again, just my opinion. Diver: - before i start, i'll confess I did not buy this watch to use as my dive watch, I have another watch for that purpose. That being said, Orient sells this as a "diver watch", so I'm going to be slightly critical. 1) the bezel edge sits inside the body of the watch, ie, there is no bezel overhang. This makes turning the bezel very difficult, even with gloves only 3mm thick. 2) the crown is terribly small. Again, good luck tightening it with gloves in the event it wasn't properly closed before getting in the water. 3) Even with all the extra bracelet links, the bracelet is no where near large enough to fit over a dry suit. 4) building on point 3, the clasp doesn't allow additional extension to allow the watch to go over a diving suit without needing to add bracelet links, however, there still aren't enough links to allow for this anyways, and this is coming from a guy with tiny wrists. So, in conclusion, this is an amazing watch, especially given the price. Don't let my nit picking deter you. If you've been eying this watch up, buy it, you will not regret it.
