I've been using this for a while now and it has worked great for me. I used it when I put down sod, I used it when I put down grass seeds, it does the job.

I de-thatched and aerated my Burmuda yard this spring to seed plant some Tall Fescue. The first picture is the day I planted and used the starter from Scotts. The second picture is 1 month later. I applied the fertilizer TWICE and watered the yard a lot (It’s Fescue). Now I’ve been able to back off the watering to a couple of times per week. Yes, it worked for me and I would recommend, but I would also recommend that you apply more than ones- probably space it out by a couple of weeks.

Since I use this product on my grass, the grass got so dark green and grew in beautifully
