Just got this and popped in some baby potatoes, tossed in small amount of oil and then salted. Have it a shake half way through cooking. The potatoes were evenly roasted, and all cooked through perfectly in 30mins. The air circulates through the wire effectively and the food is not sitting in oil… a much healthier result with no loss of flavour.

We tried several frozen treats that you would usually deep fry, jalepeno poppers (two kinds) chicken fingers also. Both turned out great.

Does and excellent job with fries and pizza especially since the grill keeps everything off the pan and allows the air to circulate properly with excellent results. Pizza crust is cooked under whole crust and the fries are nice and crispy.

I didn't want yet another appliance cluttering my kitchen but had been tempted to get an air fryer. Then I learned that a toaster oven can do the same job provided that it has a built in fan and an appropriate basket. Well I had the toaster oven (Breville) but not the basket and after much searching found this. I've used it quite a few times now and it surpassed my expectations. Used it for blackened chicken, breaded chicken tenders, battered fish, and fries of course. Chicken has come out lovely and tender and fish was great. Fries are not the same as if they were immersed in oil in a deep fat fryer, but they're still good and it's a healthier option. I've also been surprised at how easy it is to clean. Not a blemish on it to date. If using a toaster oven I'd recommend checking it will fit. Mine is the 0.8 cubic foot Breville and it fits as though it was made for it. It wouldn't fit if the oven were more than just a little smaller.
