Anyone try this stand with a didgeridoo?

Yes, one of my didges is very heavy. This stand holds it. I haven't used it in a performance and also not in a long time, but it is one of the first instruments I tried on it. This particular didge has a bit of a flare at the bell end, so accommodates the two hooks at the end of the stand. The strap on the stand is kind of useless for a didge, but you can easily work that out.

Can I see an image of this stand with a djembe in it, and a person playing it? I can't tell from this photo if it's what I want.

8.5”—the opening however is not a semicircle; it is an arc a bit less than a quarter circle.

Will this work for a miniconga?

There's a good chance it will work for a mini Conga, because I think it could fit in the cradle and then you could strap it in. It didn't work for my Djembe drum because mine is too big to fit on the stand. The stand is not that expensive and Its well made. Go ahead and try it and see if you can make it work for you. If it doesn't fit, do what I did, send it back. Good luck.
