Razer Phone 2 Case, TUDIA [Merge Series] Dual Layer Heavy Duty Extreme Drop Protection/Rugged Phone Case for Razer Phone 2 [2018] (Mint)

I've owned this case for almost 2 years now and it has still held up great and protected my Razer Phone 2 from small drops. The only drop it wasn't been able to protect against was from Razer dropping developer support for their phone lineup. The only flaws in the design have been just some of the visual design elements having gaps and coming apart temporarily if flexed without a phone in it. Like the black plastic trapezoid shaped lines below the TUDIA logo at the bottom, or the tiny line of a gap above the camera cutout can come apart slightly if flexed. But with the phone in it, it stays together just fine. The case's overall colour and materials haven't worn down at all and looks just as good as it did when I first bought it. The structure of this case is also extremely sturdy and barely flexes without a phone in it which seems great for protection from falls since the case structure helps take some of the the impact of the fall instead of the phone. Only part of it that allows any real flexing without a phone is in the center where the fingerprint reader cutout and volume buttons are which is to be expected since the material is thinnest there. I really like that they're the only company I found that made a perfect sized triangle for the RGB logo with a diagonal slope to bridge the gap between the back of the case and logo which looks really slick and adds some structure to the case. Not even Razer tried to do that, their official branded cases have big ugly circles around the RGB and cost quite a lot compared to this one. I also liked how the case's border ridges are just high enough to keep both the front screen of the phone and protruding back cameras away from directly touching any flat surface I put it on. The best features on this case are the separate volume up and down buttons that are bigger than than the tiny circular buttons that come with the phone and still allow the nice tactile clicking sound when raising or lowering the volume. As well as the nicely proportioned groove opening for finger print reader, which gives your thumb a perfect place to rest and have some grip when talking on the phone. Otherwise your finger would just slide off the flat surface of the Razer Phone 2. I'm definitely going to check out TUDIA phone cases for future phones, they're way better than the crappy structureless rubber or overly thick book-like cases I see other companies peddle on Amazon. Hopefully the phone I pick next will also have a longer developer support cycle than the short lived Razer phone lineup.
