Great product-highly effective. Sinks in well but leaves very slight bit of oil on surface that seals in moisture & makes skin glow. Beautiful. Use straight out of shower for maximum moisturizing benefit. Doesn’t leave scum in shower next time you bathe-more proof it penetrates well. Have heard it works well to prevent & treat stretch-marks. Very slight but pleasant scent-so mild it won’t clash with other scented products. Wonderful blend of exotic oils indigenous to Africa. Have bought this product repeatedly for many years. I have sensitive skin & am sensitive to scented products yet I’ve never had any sort of negative reaction to Bio-oil. Highly recommend.

I really enjoyed this oil during my pregnancy. Made me feel as if I was actually doing something to prevent or minimize the stretch marks I had. I particularly liked the smell of it, and it wasn't too greasy feeling, which I was pleased about. As for actually preventing, I would say no. However, I already had stretch marks from previous pregnancies, so it was a bit hard to tell. However, I do feel that it helped to minimize my scarring, which I was very thankful for!

I have no complaints about bio oil. It can be pricey but it is worth it if you’re needing it for a specific skin discoloration issue or trying to prevent stretch marks. Even if you choose not to buy it online, I still recommend you get it from a store. I am extremely familiar with this product, it’s been a lifesaver in different points of my life. It was with bio oil that I was able to fade a very dark burn on my face from a bad waxing attempt many years ago. It literally looks like nothing was ever there. I have always used it to fade any dark spots or scars successfully. I don’t like using it on my face as much as my body just because it’s oil, but it has never caused any breakouts for me personally and I know that if I ever have another problem on my face, this works. I have now been using it every day on my belly to prevent stretch marks during pregnancy. I am currently 8 months pregnant, only have a few weeks left to go, and still no stretch marks at all. I know if they show up that it will not be this product or anything that is to blame, it will simply be natural cause if my belly grows faster than my skin can keep up with. However I have seen amazing benefits for my skin elasticity. The last three weeks I have been feeling the growing tension and stretch on my belly and belly button, and felt like stretch marks were on the brink of showing, but I’ve been super consistent with applying oil a few times a day and nothing has popped up so far. I know it would’ve been a different story if I wasn’t using anything. I rely heavily on bio oil and sometimes combine it with lavender oil at night, and massage those in. I also use lotion or the Vaseline cocoa body oil gel when running low on this - just trying to extend the use of what I have and keeping my belly moisturised as much as possible throughout the day. I’m sure there are other things you can use to help with extra moisturising if you need it, like applying lotion if you need to go out and don’t want to have oil on your clothes. This is your body, you’re the one who has to live in it and at the end of pregnancy you’ll be glad you did all you could to help with the changes. Some body changes will be inevitable and that’s amazing, you cannot expect your body to be the same when motherhood is such a transformative process and you are growing a life. We should make our peace with all these things, see beauty in it and focus on good health above all, but I also believe it’s best for your mental health to look after what’s important to you and have no regrets. If preventing stretch marks is important to you, don’t neglect it.

A miracle worker for skin. I've had stretch marks from a pregnancy and this pil as helped reduce their harshness as well ad appearance. Smells really good, you just put some on your hands and rub wherever you want. Can go anywhere really, body, face, hands, you name it! The only drawback is that it doesnt really absorb fast so your clothes will smell like the oil.

Llevo casi un año usandolo, la mejoria en las manchas es lenta pero si es efectivo. Es ligero, aunque yo sufri acne mucho tiempo y temi que no le sentara bien a mi piel. Yo recomiendo aplicarlo con la piel muy humeda, eso facilita su absorcion. Valorando precio no hay comparacion con cualquier crema de marcas muy costosa que tambien he usado, Bio oil supera con creces esos productos por menos del 10% del precio. Fabuloso.

I highly recommend Bio-Oil for reducing the appearance of belly stretch marks after giving birth. I personally used it, and I had wonderful results. My stretch marks are almost gone! I also recommend using it during pregnancy to help keep your skin moisturized and improve its elasticity.
