I had an older version of this. I searched many similar products for a lap/fan stand for my laptop, but no luck, then I found this one!

It useful and comfortable when using your laptop while sitting on a sofa or in bed. But not really convenient when your actually doing work on a table. Also the fan though not that noisy but the power is also not that great. They could have put a more powerful fan to help cool the laptop.

I looked at allot of these coolers as lately I’ve been doing some video editing in bed before sleep and my MacBook M2 16 inch gets a bit warm if pushed. Plus it’s hot on my lap. So I thought I’d give this a shot as it wasn’t as expensive as most others but seemed like it would do the job. Firstly it’s very comfortable on my lap now. I can be glued to my screen for a long time while my laptop is sitting on this Tagus cooler. It’s because it has a neoprene style bottom. It’s comfortable. The build quality is good, but this isn’t a heavy duty build I would say. It is rather lightweight and angled. It has a usb A cord that protrudes from its side so it can be plugged in to your laptop. New Mac users need an adapter which is 5 bucks on amazon. There are two sizeable fans in the middle of the stand that blow air towards the bottom of your laptop. They are extremely quiet and unless I put my ear right next to the laptop cooler I can’t hear them at all. There is only one speed. But, even with my video editing it keeps my MacBook Pro cool therefore I don’t feel anything warm on my thighs either. I would buy this again. It’s a good product and works. Recommended.

It is just as described- portable and lightweight, and so far working satisfactorily. Used with my Asus Zenbook as well as Lenovo ThinkPad, cooling and airflow all good.

My mac book pro no longer has overheating problems nor sounds like a plane trying to take off.

I've been using it for a few days so far and it works well and is very quiet. Also the guy who said it wouldn't fit a 17" laptop was wrong, it fits mine quite comfortably. It's lightweight and comfortable to use on my lap, and I've been surprised at how well it distributes the weight of my bulky laptop so it doesn't make my legs hurt, unlike some regular lap desks. I also like the fact that it doesn't have bright lights. But the best part and the reason I got it is because I can set my laptop down on my bed or another soft surface and not worry about it overheating! It keeps my laptop room temperature to the touch and the laptop's internal fans haven't kicked on once. Can't really comment on durability yet, except that I've leaned on it accidentally a couple times and it made a plastic crack sound but nothing seemed to be broken afterward, so it must've just been the plastic shifting. All in all, so far I'm happy with the performance for the price.
