Great strings for tuning down....
Just put these on an old Les Paul Gothic that I recently purchased. I tune to E flat and it was clear that the neck tension and string action had changed. I was getting buzzing with .10s and didn't adjust the neck as I intended to go up to heavier gages later.I wanted to go up to .11's but thought I'd give these a try. They have been a perfect solution as the nut is not cut for .11's.Very nice mellow sound which works well with an ebony fretboard which tend to have a brighter sound. I imagine that they would balance well with a maple fretboard/neck as well.I may stick with these to avoid having to take the guitar in for a new nut and setup which is really what needs to be done when going up to heavier strings.

Love the 9.5 size and sound
These really come alive in my opinion. A hair bigger than 9s, so they feel more solid. I used to use 11s but have moved to these to save my guitar necks and so forth. I think 9.5 makes them more playable and less loose while still being light. Punchy overdriven tone and a lot of clarity.

Feels like I've no strings at all
The GHS strings are super smooth and are amazingly lightweight...my fingers don't even feel they have strings beneath them..

they have great tone, however they don't last long
I usually use Fender nickel or Ernie ball slinky's on my strat, they have great tone, however they don't last long, but for 4 bucks there great. These strings are awesome, they sound great, and really wake up the guitars tone they also last a long time, and even stay in tune better, the price is more, but if you don't like changing strings all the time these are for you.

Can't Gauge a String By... Oh, Never Mind. They're Great!
I like them, but... the extra light gauge (as supposedly played by Carlos Santana) don't stay in tune very well, and because of the 9-1/2 gauge 1st and 2nd, break really easily. To be fair, I use a titanium guitar pick; that said, I hardly ever break strings, and I thought the metal pick would shred them all the time.I changed to the medium gauge (11's) and I LOVE them. Amazing tone on my PRS - which is why I wanted to try them - and great playability. The 11 gauge isn't a problem for bending at all (I thought it might be). I'm sold. These will be my strings of choice from this point forward. Really, the tone is the thing, and these are great!

My chosen set of strings in 9.5
Wow, these are impressive. Just the right feel, stretch out and keep tune quickly, resonate great acoustically, etc. I've played for almost 25 years and tried out a few sizes and sets of at least 15 brands; some feel brittle (looking at you, Ernie Ball), have spots right out of the packaging (DR), break more easily, etc. I do like D'Addarios, but wanted to try a few alternatives, and these really shined. I also like the 9.2-43 option; they feel particularly well-balanced. (See the Beato video on YT about gauges; or just go with what feels best.) I think I like them more than the regular Boomers; just a little more resonate, I guess. I'm not crazy about the packaging (I'll give D'Addario a nod, there) but still, I think these are my new go-tos.

GHS 9.5 strings
I put these on my 2001 Korean Epiphone Les Paul standard and do not like the sound of high E string. This is my first time using the 9.5 strings, I usually use heavier strings. I guess I need to get use to the sound. I will give an update after I have played with them on for a few more weeks.

Good strings for E flat tuning.
I normally play standard E but use 9-46. When I had to play in E flat, I didn’t enjoy the way the strings were so slack that my frets were chattering. At the same time, I didn’t want a string set that changed my playing attack or tone significantly. This string set was perfect for replicating what I enjoy about 9-46 Boomers in E Standard to my E flat tuning. I could play all that KISS and bend all night but still be able to lay into my open chords without fret noise.

Non troppo squillanti, come piacciono a me. Ottime

Santanas Saiten
Genial zum banden mit noch genügend Bass. Klanglich auch top. Mal gespannt wie lange sie halten, dazu kann ich noch nichts sagen.

The best strings for my Gretsch
These strings have a balanced feel across across the fretboard, feel great when bending notes and have excellent tone.
