This is a great mat for the price. It’s textured and I like that, but some may not, and find it may overwhelm you touch sense. It’s thick, it’s soft and cushiony and it grips. I love the attractive color. If you’re looking for a light, go to the gym, mat, this might be a little heavier than expected.

I’ve been using this mat for over 3 years now: it’s one of 4 I own as a yoga teacher and one of my favorites. Just enough cushion for achey joints, plenty of traction and not as heavy as my other Manduka mats. Thoroughly recommend.

This yoga mat was pricey but honestly it’s AMAZING! I do hot yoga/Pilates the room is between 95/105 degrees. It’s safe to say I sweat ALOT and this mat doesn’t budge. It does it a little slippery when I’m dripping sweat but over all I am very firm and stable on it! Hands down best yoga mat I’ve ever purchased! 10/10 recommend!!!

I’ve been using the yoga mat for 3 months already. It is good and worth. Please consider that if you sweat a lot it may not be the one. You can tell after a hard yoga practice how your hands slipped a little, not a big thing but I can’t be uncomfortable. The texture it’s a little weird but you get used to it. Also make sure to clean it well after every practice cause it gets dirty fast. If you are not that pro or if you don’t do hot yoga very often it is a great mat.

I purchased the Manduka X mat through Amazon after having seen it at a local sporting goods shop. I had been looking for the 'perfect' mat and didn't notice this on the Manduka site. This mat is great, it is deeply textured, lightweight (like the PROlite), strong, and 5mm thick (like the PRO). Also, I wanted a black mat. It is deep black (but comes in two other colors). The only noticeable drawback in this type of mat is that it can kink and show noticeable lines. It arrived with kinks on the end where it had been rolled tight for packaging and shipping. Time has not removed them completely but they are only noticeable to me and I expect them to go away completely. I have to roll the mat large with some care and consideration so as not to kink it myself. It is closed cell and dries very quickly. The deep texture means that I have to spend a little more time wiping it clean but it holds all of my towels better. It is also grippy, probably why it is touted as their 'athletic' mat. I think it is very stylish and the best looking mat at the studio, and i even like how Manduka stitched the logo on the side. One of those happy purchases.

What a great addition to my Yoga time! The grip is great, and the mat has enough thickness that your not on the hard floor but not too much to make it squishy! Only wish it came with a strap.

Only positives I can say are the color is cute and it felt like a sturdy, good quality mat - until I used it for class. NO SLIP RESISTANCE AT ALL. My hands are raw and red after my class from struggling to hold myself in a downward dog, I even had to get up and grab towels just to get through the class. Same with my feet when doing any warrior poses etc. I’ve never experienced this poor of traction during yoga, even with my $20 mats. Amazed for $60 it can completely miss that factor; seems like that would be something a yoga mat should have?? Super disappointed. If you get sweaty at all I’d avoid this mat as you’ll be sliding all over.

Ha un grip eccezionale, una texture molto piacevole al tatto. Un po’ più pesante del mio precedente tappetino ma molto confortevole.

Solid, great grip, feels great for working out

I was sent the wrong color, but I just kept the one they sent since it was a pretty good color too. I was a bit worried about the comments saying this yoga mat was slippery, but I've been using it for about a month now and I think it has a really good grip. It's about half an inch shorter than on the description but, to be honest, it's not a big issue for me. The quality of the material is really good. It has a really good density and a good thickness so it's gentle on my knees but it's also pretty light to carry around. I have two cats and sometimes I forget to put it away straight away after I use it. So far, it seems really resistant to their little annoying claws. My fat cat, George, tried to use it as a scratcher and it just left one tiny tiny little pin hole while on my old mat, it would have left craters.

Después de 10 años de práctica, puedo decir que Manduka es la mejor marca de tapetes de yoga que he tenido. La calidad, el agarre y la durabilidad son inigualables. I was looking to invest in a new yoga mat and I was wanted to find something that was thick enough and also durable without being too bulky. This is the perfect combination of everything and I am very pleased with the quality so far.
