Is this the same spray from back in the 1980s that I used to lightly mist and shine the hair and had a very light liquid solution?

I'm not sure. I actually ordered the spray by mistake. I wanted the conditioner, which I really love. On my hair the spray is a bit heavy. I find that if I spray it on while my hair is still really wet and then wipe it with a towel and dry it, it does make my hair a bit softer and seems wavier. Didn't notice any difference in the shine. :)
