I based my decision about buying this heater on reading the reviews posted here. So, here is my review now that I own it.I was looking for a small heater to augment the house wide forced air system that heats our basement. I wanted to bring the basement temperature up about 3 to 5 degrees to make it closer to the temperature in the rest of the house. I was not sure this unit could do that and am pleasantly surprised that it can.Here are the specifics ...- The area that I wanted to boost the temperature in is located in the basement - the area is about 670 square feet.- The basement is below ground on three sides - Walls are 10" thick reinforced concrete with an inner wood stud wall filled completely with 3-1/2" thick spray foam insulation ... The basement is very "tight."- Forced air ducts supply three diffusers in the space but this ductwork cannot get the room above 66 degrees.- I wanted the DeLongi heater to get the room up to between 68 and 70 degrees.Results:- Set on the HIGH setting with the fan, I can get the room up to 68 degrees after about three hours and it remains at 68 degrees. When I had the heater set to 69 degrees, it took five hours to get the room up to 70 degrees and then it held that a steady temperature. (The outside temperature was about 24 degrees at that time.)- Not sure yet what the impact will be on the electric bill.- Very pleased that this heater is so effective.- The modern, sleek design fits right into the room and looks great.- I plan to mount it on the wall when additional construction work is done in the room.Packaging - The heater arrived in perfect condition. Unlike another review that I read, Amazon packed it in an outer shipping box that provided extra needed protection for the unit during shipping.Bottom Line: Very pleased with the quality, design and effectiveness of this little heater. It works well to augment the heat in a room of over 600 square feet.

Lo Utilizo en una habitación de 3 x 5 Metros, Lo Coloco al centro de la habitación donde esta la sensación térmica mas fría, buena calefacción en el nivel 1 eco en todos los grados, cuando lo configuras para determinar los grados seleccionas los grados mode ajustas al máximo y pones eco Enciende el Ventilador una vez que llega a la Temperatura enciende el Nivel 3 Rojo- 2 Amarillo 1 Verde, En el Nivel 3 y 2 después emite un sonido al encender las celdas que es constante, para aprovechar lo silencioso lo utilizo en el nivel 1 solo subo la temperatura. Cumple para Mantener agradable la temperatura de la habitación 19-20 grados cuando en el exterior esta a de 0 a 2 grados.

Used to supplement the heat in our basement sitting room. Don't know it is there unless we pull out the plug, it runs so quiet not like the fan heater we used to have.
