Der Hobel ist etwas instabil und wackelig beim Schneiden von etwas hรคrterer Wurst oder Schinken. Aber man kann ihn trotzdem benutzen, indem man den Hobel auf einer rutschfesten Unterlage fest macht.

I like this product, It works very well, I make my own cured meat and it needs to be sliced almost paper thin, but it is very difficult to slice it with a knife and I don't want a large deli slicer in my kitchen taking up all the space. This is a small, compact device that is very easy to use. It is also important that it does not move or wobble when slicing meat. I haven't tried cutting salami yet, but it should be a lot easier than what I used it for. And the reason I give it 4 stars is because I bought it a day ago for $50.95 plus tax and now its price has dropped to $48.93. What's up with that? I'm not going to fight for $2+, but in this day and age with this economy where every dollar counts, I feel cheated. ๐
