SkechersWomen's Dighton Bricelyn Work Shoe

I recently got hired to work for the USPS as a City Carrier Assistant (CCA), but searching for the right shoes for the job was going to be quite challenging since everyone has different opinions about what they believe to be the most comfortable shoes. I researched a lot of options and narrowed it down to price range, and comfort for my size 6 feet 🦶🏼. I am 5’2 and Weigh about 130lbs. My jobs requires miles of walking about an average of 9-12 hours on my feet. I have to say that I have out walked the seasoned mail carriers because of these shoes. You have to break these in in order for them to conform to your feet. It took me about 3-4 times wearing them to break them in. They are so comfortable that I forget that I am wearing them. They are affordable and are NOT Postal Approved shoes. (This was a conscience decision by me) however they meet the uniform requirements,(all black leather). I really love these shoes. They are not the prettiest to look at, but it’s not a fashion shoes. They are great work shoes!!

Comfortable shoes. I have bunions and the wide gives a good amount of space. My feet/toes don’t start to hurt as fast as they used to. I read the reviews about the non slip part. It was like 50-50. At times the shoes aren’t as non slip as other shoes I’ve had. Or there’s times where it’s not non slip at all and I almost fall. It’s a 50-50. UPDATE:: the more I wear them the more slippery they are. Also the shoe laces come undone like every 5 minutes.. gonna need different shoes but these will do until my new ones come.

I don't normally write reviews but I almost didn't order these shoes because of comments about not being slip resistant. Yes, they are! I work in a restaurant where I'm constantly treading back and forth through the kitchen and non slip is a requirement. Of course if you are going to RUN through grease or do a little jig then obviously you're asking to slip. But if you're like everyone else who puts weight on the shoe as you step and are careful when walking, like most of us know to do in wet slippery spots, then they are absolutely non slip. I always watch my step anyway and these shoes enable me to walk fast enough to keep up with our restaurant pace whether fast or slow. Don't let the negative views talk you out of these shoes, I really feel that people have a need to sabatoge everything. Unfortunately, they have no support with planters fasciitis and will require me to purchase inserts, but otherwise are worth the price for skechers under $40.

-Memory foam on the heel is comfy-It is not Slip resistant-Takes a few days for the shoes to fully break-in (hard at first)-perfect for long hours of standing
