For the price this is a tremendous piece of equipment. The bottom is aluminum and slightly domed so not perfect for a totally flat stove, HOWEVER it works just fine on my coil ring stove. The lid fits quite well. The steel seems very resilient. Surprisingly very stick resistant. I LEFT THIS ON A HOT BURNER OVERNIGHT WITH WATER THAT EVAPORATED AND IT DID NOT WARP AT ALL ON A COIL STOVE. I love this for doing masala goat stew because you can do all the frying in one pan. Even Calphalon doesn't do that...

Very useful.
It's ok. The lid is a little thinner than I would like. The real problem is that it is listed as 10 QT, it is not. It is 8 liter or 8.45 QT. I would not have bought it if I knew. Update: After using this a few times both stovetop and in the oven, I have upgraded to 4 stars. Even heating and the handles stayed cool enough to handle and strain.
