Great idea, just not for a glass roof!
The box was fine, a great idea and ready to install. We returned it because it can not go on top of of a panoramic glass roof.

Spacious Tesla Roof Cargo Bag with Great Capacity and Minor Zipper Issue
I drive a Tesla with roof racks, and this cargo bag was absolutely perfect for my setup. Itโs large and offers plenty of space for multiple suitcases and gear, making it ideal for road trips. The only issue I ran into was one of the zipper pulls snapping, which made it a little more difficult to zip the bag back up. Other than that, it performed well overall.I also recommend using a roof basket underneath it to help make it more secure and potentially more energy efficient while driving. Overall, itโs a solid option for extra storage when you need it.

Awesome product
I love this bag so much I need to shorten my review! Me: 5' 4", 60 year old disabled female who travels between Tucson and Detroit every summer. I bought a new RAV4 hybrid and didn't want to damage my car with putting anything directly on the roof with a sunroof so I also ordered a luggage rack along with the Roof Pax bag. I already had factory installed roof rails so I didn't need to buy those. Both arrived quickly and without damage and no missing parts. Very easy install for both items. I opened the bag and did a trial run for packing it on my living room floor. This helped me a great deal for time. I installed both items myself very easy. I am short, so I needed a ladder to haul everything up and overhead. There's the time consuming thing. Moving the ladder around the car to load and tie down by yourself takes time. Get some help and it'll go much faster. My neighbor helped me unload when I arrived in Michigan and only took 10 minutes to unload. Now, the review. PROS: Everything! They left no stone unturned. The bag looked and felt substantial. The outer layer felt like it would hold up under my driving conditions and I was impressed right out of the box. The inner layer has some kind of rubberized coating for waterproofing. The zipper is concealed under a flap that has velco to hold it down. It came with a small lock so you can lock lock the 2 zippers together for security. It has straps all the way around to tie it down to your car. The straps have a velco piece attached at the end so you can secure the loose ends so they don't flap in the breeze. It came inside a storage bag with clips if you want to attach this bag through your windows without using a roof rack. The only CON to this so far is, how am I ever going to fold this thing back down into a storage bag? I haven't tried it yet but it doesn't matter as I have a garage. My testing of the bag: This bag took 3 days of driving in over 100 degree temps and a about 30 minutes of rain in Missouri. I drove the speed limit sometimes. Usually I'm the 10 mph over the speed limit driver on the freeway. I was pretty much 75-80 mph fully loaded with this bag though. I arrived without incident to the bag in Michigan in time for father's day. No visible damage to the bag, or to the car. My neighbor helped my unload and take the bag off in 10 minutes. No water made it through the bag and all my items were no worse for the wear. I'll return to Tucson in October. If something goes awry, I'll update this review. Here's my advice. Read other people's reviews and see what may have went wrong. Most negative comments about about roof bags of any make came from people tying these things down to their windows and having the bags rest ON THE ROOF. High winds and drag on these bags tells me they won't hold up to this abuse. Even with the bag loaded properly as per Roof Pax instruction, the drag on the luggage kills gas mileage. The RAV4 hybrid gets about 45mpg unloaded. Not on this trip I assure you. Load the roof bag so you have no hard pieces of suitcases like wheels facing the sides and front of the bag where winds at these speeds will damage anything. I don't advise any bag directly on the roof unless it's an emergency move on a short trip. As much as I spent for my car, I wanted NO damage to it. Use a luggage rack and secure the straps to that instead of your windows. I worried about the plastic clips on the straps holding up, but they did just fine. The Roof Pax is a 5 star, 2 thumbs up from me. I recommend this item under the conditions I stated. I would buy this again.

Alright, let's talk about the roof bag
I purchased this roof bag after researching A LOT of other bags, and this one appeared to be the best value for the money. I move around a lot, and own more stuff than a person who moves around that much really should, so I wanted some extra cargo space for my 2016 Kia Soul and this was far cheaper than buying a hard cargo case. So, the set up. I was baffled for a good hour trying to attach it to my car, even after watching numerous videos and reading instructions. As it turns out, pulling the weather stripping back from the car door feels like breaking that part of the car. You have to really dig your fingers underneath and pull to get it off, at least on my car. With that done though, I was able to easily fit all of the hooks into the doors (and was later able to reattach the weather stripping with no problem). This caused a little extra noise while driving, but no water leaks. It has A LOT of space; I had put all of my clothes and bedding into vacuum seal bags, and fit 6 large and 8 extra large filled bags up there, along with pillows and some loose items. The zipper is a little tricky to pull around, so have a step ladder handy. My big complaint here was that the middle straps are shorter than the front and back straps. I don't understand this. I picked this bag largely because it offered six points of attachment, but trying to lock down the middle straps utterly ruins your cargo allowance, especially if you're trying for an aerodynamic shape. I ended up locking them down with bungee cords, and once everything was tightened it seemed secure.I was driving from CA to CO, which is pretty straightforward highway driving. I checked the straps regularly, and the bag didn't budge, even at high speeds. The real test was when I hit a storm on the Nevada border, the kind of storm where you can't see twenty feet ahead of you through the hail and rain, and the wind makes you wonder if a tornado is coming. I checked the bag at the next stop, it hadn't moved an inch and everything inside was dry, so A+ in that area. It definitely did the job.I'm not sure how well it will hold up over time, but it seems sturdy enough for at least a handful of long trips. I'll be interested to see how it holds up on my next move.

Worked great!
We made a thousand mile trip over Christmas break with five passengers and two dogs (one large, one small) in a CRV. The dogs rode on their beds in the cargo area of the car. So all the bags had to go on top in this carrier. I spent probably four hours researching carriers and was concerned with durability and usable space.I definitely did not want the ones with a strap running through the windows. We have two tall teenage sons, so they don't want a strap across their faces. Also the water leaking in was a concern. I also didn't want one that got destroyed on one trip from wind damage. I didn't want a huge one because we all agreed to take one small carryon bag and then some dog items on the trip. And I had a new car that I wanted to keep nice.Pros: perfect size, loved the window clips, no damage to it at all from the drive, and the price, although not low, was worth it to me even if we only got one trip out of it. So it's great that the carrier is as good as when we bought it.Cons: the idea that it will go back in the bag is just silly. I did try because I really wanted it to go back in, but there's just no way. When it says it has a built in protective pad, don't confuse that for a non-skid pad. You will want to buy a rubber mat separately. While driving on our 14 hour trip crammed into the CRV with our three adult size children, an 80# dog and a 16# dog, our daughter said the carrier was worth every penny. Even if we only got one use out of it.I would recommend saving time looking for something better. If you can afford this, you will be happy with it. It was the first one that popped up in my search, and after four hours of trying to find something better, it was the one I bought. Now just make a bigger carrying bag, Roofpax!! (On the way home, I didn't need it, so I flattened it out under the dog beds. So it was okay, but the bag is a total waste of their time to make or include other than it looks good when it arrives.
