great for making a diy hoist trolly
Easy to install. I spread these open slightly to make it easier to slide the uni-strut into them overhead. The bolts through the sides then clamp the channel securely after it is in position. These hangers are a little pricy for what they are but they serve the purpose for my application well. To be clear - these are not attached to the ceiling - they are attached with 24" of all-thread extending up through a corresponding length of thin uni-strut channel laid across the floor joists in the attic.

Very solid
This is a good hanger for a unistrut rail used with Unistrut part number P2749-EG 2 trolley caster. There was so little clearance that I did not have to make a stop to prevent the door from sliding off the trolley rail. This hanger also fit tightly enough around the 1 5/8 unistrut so I did not have to do any bonding to prevent the rail from moving around in the hanger. For my project I was anchoring this piece to a two by four so I used a three and a half inch wood screw to reach though this part and securely into the wood. But there was too much space around the wood screw using only a flat washer. When I tried to move it with my hand this part moved around quite a bit. So I cut a two inch long piece of 1/4 inch inside diameter black pipe to use as a sleeve around the wood screw. This was the correct outside diameter to fill up the 7/16 hole. I put a washer over the end of the hole and tightened down the wood screw and this holder was fastened firmly to the wall with no movement whatsoever.

Worked great with unistrut rail.
Fit well with rail, used in a fail system for an electric hoist.
