My son is in the International Baccalaureate (IB) program at school. We purchased this book just before school started. It's a sturdy book and he carries it with him all the time. His school now uses Amazon for all of their book purchases because Amazon offers such great deals on new and used versions of school books. And when my son is done with this math book, he can sell it used here on Amazon.

Habe das Buch gekauft, um meinem Sohn bei der Vorbereitung fürs IB Mathematik Examen, zu unterstützen. Nach fünftägiger intensiver Durchsicht, stellte ich fest, dass das Buch überhaupt keinen Vorteil gegenüber den standard Lehrbüchern (course companion) bietet. In fast allen Kapiteln, werden die mathematischen Prinzipien sehr knapp erklärt. Das Kapitel "Vectors" z.B. umfasst wenige Seiten. Ich habe deshalb das Buch zurückgeschickt und das richtige Lehrbuch bestellt.

Pros: Plenty of exercises and tests Comprehensive coverage of topics, tips and so on Logical order Cons: too much formula and lack of the spirit for what that formula is doing Solved exercises are much simpler than the advance questions, but there are no explanations in the solutions - wasting lots of time when one has hard time solving an advanced question. missing the solutions to starter activities, toolkits and be the examiner questions
