Purchased to help me open doors after breaking my elbow and subsequently having surgery on it. These have proved very useful, giving me more purchase to turn the key. The bright colours facilitate keys being found in your bag and in identifying which key for which lock. I like the fact that they are a British product too. Sturdy and good value.

Very helpful for turning keys

I’m so glad I found the key wing, I’ve been struggling to open my front door due to arthritis. The key wing is absolutely amazing I cannot believe how easy it is now to open my door. It is so easy to use and so easy to open my door, I love it. Do not hesitate to buy this product if like me you are struggling to turn keys. Fantastic little gadget.

The product works well once you understand the instructions on how to release the internal tray (Step 1). The information provided on the Key Wing Key Turner Pack is less than helpful. If all else fails, look at the YouTube video for the Key Wing Turner which is is very good and clearly covers Steps 1, 2 and 3 with an "idiots guide" on how to open the internal tray for Step 1. If the instructions on the Pack were clearer a 5 star rating would be appropriate as the key turner works well once installed in the "turner"

Having progressive arthritis in both hands, using keys has become much more of a challenge even failing with some which is very upsetting. However these little plastic wings that go over the big end of the key and stuck with a double sided tape are brilliant They are lightweight and have stipples on them for more grip. For me they have been the difference between being able to use a key or not, life savers.

A good idea for those with dexterity issues or arthritic hands to make using keys easier. It was therefore disappointing to find that I am unable to open them and remove backing from the sticky pad without help, plus one of the covers is missing its sticky pad. I am happy to say however, that they do make turning keys easier.

These are great. They fit many different keys and have honestly changed my life! I no longer have to worry about hurting my hands/fingers every time I need to lock or unlock the door. So pleased I got these and will get more when they need changing, I’ve had them for almost 2 years now and they’re still great so I’m sure they’ll last a long time. Would definitely recommend

Not fit for purpose. When attached to a key (typical Yale key), the product is too far forward which doesn’t allow the key to be fully inserted into keyhole. So when trying to turn the key, it’s not fully in. This caused my son to snap the key when trying to turn the key. Fortunately we were in, so managed to get the key out using pliers. And you can’t move it back because there is no hole in the ‘wing’ which means you have to move it forward to allow attaching to key ring. Completely flawed product. Couldn’t even return it because I had damaged one of them taking it off the key.

This product is wonderful for my father who has difficulty with his hands. It makes it much easier for him to access the required keys on his key ring and to grasp the key to turn in the lock. Great for anyone with hands that cannot grasp easily.

I’ve been looking for something like this for a while. I’ve searched through so many specialty, disability, therapy and medical supply webshops but all I could find was the extender type key help which, due to my medical condition, I couldn’t use. This one is exactly what I needed. Now I am able to open the door independently. My therapist was surprised to hear that I found it here on Amazon. This is truly a godsend.

I couldn’t open the fire door lock with the key alone. Once I put the keywing on, I could open the fire door on first try.
