Make sure you measure your dog using chart before you buy
This doggy onesie provided a solution to my dog’s sliding diapers. My aging dog is starting to have urinary incontinence. I bought diapers, but they kept sliding down. I checked Amazon to see if there was such a thing for dogs and saw these! My bischon mix is 21 pounds so I used the sizing chart and bought a large. It fit perfectly and is working wonders during a stressful time! Diapers stay in place, my dog seems comfortable, light stretchy material, adorable print, wash and dried well, and no tightness around neck or legs! She has been sick and so her comfort is imperative! She looks so cute and comfy wearing it! I’m considering buying more!!

Great quality, soft, easy to adjust and comfortable!
UPDATE: This suit does shrink in the dryer. In my review, I mentioned agreeing with other reviews on the sizing being a little off and hers being a bit too big but the adjustable straps made it fine. After one wash and dry on low heat, it fits her as I would except. We did wash and dry it again and it didn't shrink any further so keep that in mind! Such a great find for our 6mo Havapoo after her spay. I know others have commented on the size and we too had issues finding what's best. She weighs about 7lbs so we originally purchased a small but it was a bit loose. Didn't want her getting to her incision because of this so we purchased the extra small. Sooooo small we couldn't get it on her comfortably! She's been wearing the small and it's worked out well. The band that goes around her tummy and velcro closure are actually easy to adjust the size. We pull the band as far as it can go which is to her chest, roll it up two times and then wrap it around her and secure on place with the little fabric flap. The velcro on the ends of the band barely touch but that little flap helps hold it all in place. We haven't had any issues! Even with the sizing concerns, still 5 stars in my opinion because of how it is to adjust.

Perfect, but size is inconsistent and shrinks
I'm giving this four stars because you should consider it but be aware of some facts first. It turned out perfect for my dog, allowing her to heal a large incision without having to wear a cone but generally the quality of this product is just weird. In brief, it could be absolutely perfect for your dog but if you can, it would be smart to order more than one in different sizes. If you know your dog is going to be having a surgery maybe buy it ahead of time to test it out. My female dog who had a splenectomy and would have had to wear a cone for over a week without this. Her incision runs in a straight line on her underside, from about her sternum to her pelvis. The onesie covers all of her body other than her legs and there is no way she'd be able to take it off herself. She seems perfectly comfortable though and doesn't try to. It's very easy to get on if she's standing and pretty easy if she's laying down and can't get up. With some onesies you might have trouble with peeing and pooping but this is perfect because you can easily undo the velcro, pull the back end out through her legs and tail, then fold it forward on her back and fasten it again. It takes 5 seconds and frees up her rear end so there's no mess. You could also easily put it over a diaper. The problems are that the size is all over the place. I have one that is very snug, one that's quite loose and one in the middle. Another is a good fit on the top half of her body but the lower part that covers her butt is very loose. If I were trying to cover her butt or hips and she was trying to get at it to lick, that particular one would be useless because she could get her snout in the openings. But the other 3 I bought would totally work for that. There is kind of a loop thing on the top of her back where supposedly you should be able to have the velcro ends underneath but it is impossible because the opening is nowhere near wide enough to fit the strap in. Like by an entire inch. It's not necessary though because the velcro is very strong. I don't think it would add anything for me to be able to hide the ends under that. Every one of these I've purchased has a different size opening too, which is extra weird. I get the feeling that whoever is making these is just cutting the fabric freehand without a pattern because they are so insanely irregular. One more thing about the size is that I went with an XL because it's what I could get delivered overnight and figured I'd try just in case so she didn't have to wear a cone, but I never would have thought she'd be an XL but a L would not at all be big enough. Still, I wouldn't say specifically to size up though because the size is so unpredictable from one to the next. Other problems are that it shrinks a bit when you wash it which is a problem if you got one that is already snug. None of mine shrank so badly we couldn't use it though. Dry on low heat because the velcro gets stiff and curls if you dry it on high heat. The fabric is thin so don't think this is going to keep a skinny dog warm but I was happy to have something covering my girl's shaved belly because it is winter right now. If you need a onesie or want to try it out to avoid having to use a cone, I do recommend trying it if you want a solution to avoid the cone. But, if you can order multiple sizes and return what doesn't work for you I would recommend that. If you can order more than one even of the same size it might work out because the irregularity could make one fit well but not another of the same size. Also, if you can order other brands to compare it would be a good idea. Check out what the return policy is first. I would never normally recommend something of this poor quality, but for me it was really worth it because my dog's incision is big and otherwise easy for her to scratch and lick and with how hard it is for her to walk right now a cone would be terrible and she'd be falling down all the time if she tried. She has been through a lot lately so I'm glad we had these.

The best recovery suite out of three different ones I tried on my dog. Fits perfectly. Accurate web description. High quality finishes - a section of elastic along hind legs flap limiting dog's access to sutures. Nice fabric, large section of the belly flap lined with soft cotton. I am super happy with this onesie.

I have a toy poodle recently desexed, got the M to be safe (she’s 7kg) and it worked great! Could’ve got away with the S but the M gave her a little more space comfortably so not tight. Also fast delivery ! Order over the public holidays and arrived so quickly!

I got a size L for my 15kg female Staffordshire Bull Terrier & it fits like a glove. The velcro is super strong so she can’t get out of it. Its also really breathable. She can’t get to her wound; no matter how hard she tries. Its great when we take her outside to wee, as it just rolls up so she can go. Its also been helping with her allergies and losing hair. I highly recommend, plus, its super cute.

Great surgical coat for our Westie who had a tumour and his spleen removed. It was easy to put on and take off. Washed well. A much better solution to wearing the massive plastic cone that gets in the way of everyday activities. Our Westie never scratched or tried to bite his sutures. Great colour and pattern.

Cute print and nice material but not great for dogs with longer bodies in proportion to height/weight. I have a NSDTR and this suit didn't overlap enough on her belly. She was able to get her nose in between the flap on her belly and access the incision from her spay surgery. Fit in every other way though. For most dogs, I think it would be a great option and for my dog it might work for other procedures, depending on the location of the incision.
