My vitamin D level was very low. I live in the Northeast and winter doesn't allow me to get much sunshine. After taking this, my levels have returned to normal, so I know that this is effective. I am vegan so the ingredients are important to me. The dosage that works for me is one in the AM and 1 in the PM always with food. I have had no side effects, there is no icky taste and it is easy to use. I use the subscribe and save feature so that I don't run out.

Doctor's Best Vitamin D3 is the best I've found and for a very reasonable price. The capsules are small and easily swallowed and don't have any aftertaste and I love that they are vegan, gluten-free, and soy-free as those things do matter to many people. D3 is great for bone health, cardiovascular function, and more. After trying various other brands, I settled on this brand many years ago and am still very happy with it, my D3 levels are just fine now. I have never had a problem with expiration dates, they have always been pretty far out. One of these a day has kept me in the perfect Vitamin D range.

It is difficult to find a D3 product not sourced from lanolin to which I am allergic. There are very few products that do not use lanolin and they are generally prohibitively expensive. This product is the lowest cost that I've found and I've been happy with it. I have had a small decrease in my D3 blood level since using but I am still well in the acceptable range. I'm sticking with it.

I am vitamin D deficient which most people over 50 are. I believe in Dr. Berg’s knowledge and recommendations on supplements. I have not had bloodwork again since I have started taking these.
