Do you need to heat up the tape after you apply it to make it stick?

Nope. The tape is very sticky on its own. Heating up the tape makes it un-stick more easily, i.e. when you are removing the old tape you will want to heat it up so that you can remove it with less difficulty.

Is this strech to remove tape?

Hi, The ultra-strong acrylic adhesive has superior bonding ability that has a high resistance to heat, moisture, and solvent. It sticks well and will hold two surfaces together for a long time. Do i use the adhesive instead of the glue that comes with the front cover replacement?

Hmm. I would be inclined to use the adhesive tape as it also forms a sealing gasket. My application did not have a "glue" included with the replacement screen assembly.

Does this work for iMac screen?
