Despite of using ironing water the steam generation is reasonably low. Takes lots of effort to iron. The Tefal Ultimate Pure Steam Iron is a special product because of its strength, durability, and innovative features like the MicroCalc Filter. If you want an iron that saves time and effort while producing results on par with those of a professional, it is worth the investment. I wanted something with more Watts for starched cotton clothing, and this one is perfect. It is a little heavier than my previous Tefal one, which was still functioning perfectly after six years. After six months of use, I will return with my revised review, but for now, I am enjoying it. Edit: Doesn't work anymore as it was. Barely any steam, dripping water.
