Must have

Love this lens, but it has its downfalls
I love this lens in the right conditions. The bokeh is amazing. Hardly any chromatic aberration that I’ve noticed. It’s focal point is kind of close (8-10ft) and if you shoot any further away the quality suffers greatly. I use it on my canon m50 mark ii - it has issues connecting. It comes “loose” easily, where electronically it disconnects and my screen goes black which is extremely inconvenient so I don’t use the lens for something reliable, I can’t risk it in situations like a wedding.

It's awesome, buy one now
This is a great lens for the M50. It's fast and gives you really nice pictures. It's not exactly small but it doesn't feel overly heavy. At this stage of the game not too many people are still making EF-M lenses and so if you're looking for something in this focal length you can't go wrong with the Sigma.

Game changer
Excellent lens. I have the 16mm and 30mm 1.4 lens which have turned the M50 into a camera which can now produce quality photos.
