Review: 6-year-old approved - I bought this, along with the Ada Twist and Rosie Revere workbooks to supplement learning during Covid. It helps that my daughter already loves the picture and chapter books. These are a great way to include STEM subjects without it feeling like school and while being fun ... with little work on the parent's side. The book starts out with an overview of Iggy's story followed by a list of items that are useful for being an architect. What follows are pages of prompts puzzles and projects that celebrate architecture. We trade off between the three workbooks, so we've still got plenty to do going into the school year. If I were not using these specifically to supplement school, I would happily hand them off to my daughter to explore at will. And if we actually start in-person school and stick with it for a couple weeks, that's exactly what I plan to do. Review: Child loves this book, plenty to do. - This is a great book, has kept my 8yr old busy for hours. It gives a background picture ie of an island and instructions ie. Build a temporary shelter that crocodiles can’t reach or design a temporary house in outline of a shipping container. Lots to think about for children who enjoy designing.
